Mapleleaf woke up as his belly grumble. "Pesky apprentices." He grumbled, "They never remember to bring the fresh-kill on time, or change the bedding." He growled as a hard piece of moss poked him in the side.

Dawncloud was curled up in the warriors den fast asleep, her tail draped over her nose.

Shadowclaw strode out of the warriors den and padded over to the fresh-kill pile, he saw how low it was, and glanced around camp, wondering who was on the hunting patrols.

Silverpaw blinked sleepily as he woke up. He sat up and began washing.
