Shadow opened her eyes after a while and gazed around her. I'm still alive. she thought with little excitement. She lifted her head and got up slowly, her neck and front leg hurting, along with her back.

Ludwig perked up and saw Shadow awaken. He gave a smile and purred, "It's good to see you alive Shadow. I will treat you for now. Try not to move much, it will cause more pain and we don't need your neck gash opening up." He informed the she cat padding up to her.
