:: Carnivale ::
She wouldn't admit out loud that she nearly jumped out of her skin when Hari screamed, but she managed to stifle her annoyance as she slowly meandered over to check on him.
"Goodness, Hari. Nightmares again?" Her voice was pitched softly as not to startle him further.
"May I suggest that you talk to someone about them? Perhaps they can help you work through them. I can't give you anymore assistance." Shaking her head as he opened his mouth in dismay, she watched him sigh slowly and nod. Turning away, she slowly meandered out into the open area beyond the shade of the sleeping trees. Her eventual stopping point was with Rage, who was looking a bit nervous for some odd reason, even at the distance between them. Sampling the air for any scent that could point to danger, Carnivale found none and continued towards him with her distinctive ambling walk.
:: Hari ::
Hari finally fought down the shame as he watched Carnivale wander off towards the herd leader and realized that she was right. She had done her best to help him with the reoccurring nightmares, but to no avail. But who else would be able to help him? It's not like he was the best at starting up conversations... The other Itrags made it look so natural and easy. Getting to his feet clumsily, he shook the dew from his pelt and nibble at an itchy spot near his hock. It was true that the warm spring weather gave the gnats and other biting bugs a head-start for the year. It was definitely one of the banes of living here some days.
Maybe Nuna would be able to help...? She's the lead mare for a reason... Maybe... His amber eyes flickered to the galactic-patterned mare who had whinnied in his direction. He watched her drag her hoof along the grass turf.
Maybe that was a summons...? He was now filled with dread as he headed in her direction; his ears were laid back and his head hung low.
