Stormstar ran back into camp and immediately padded to his den like nothing happened. The prey he had caught on the other hand he just left on his Clans territory.

"Owlstar?" Shadowpaw slipped out of his den. "What were those MoonClan cats doing here?"

Dashfoot sat on the ground and cleaned a ruffled paw.

Stormstar licked his fur before he padded out of his den and laid down at the entrance of it. He sighed and laid his head down.

"Hey Stormstar!" Softpelt mewed, bouncing lightly into Stormstar's den. "Where were you? I wanted to go on a hunting patrol."

Dashfoot vanished into the warriors' den.

Stormstar looked up and lied, "I was just out hunting. I failed as you could tell. And a patrol, you may pick the cats you want to take and how many."

Softpelt nodded and bounded towards Fawnstep. "Wanna go on a hunting patrol with me and Dashfoot?" she asked.
