Spottedpaw was bored out of her mind. She'd heard many cats grumbling about heat- like it was ever cool- and talking about other obvious things. Such as, the prey pile was low. No duh. The patrol hadn't even gone out yet. Letting her wide golden eyes roam the dusty terrain, the tall molly sighed. Now that the sun was setting, everyone was bedding down, and she was even more bored than before. Th[size=85]e apprentice had heard rogues had come through, but she knew if she even dared approach the medicine cat's den to question them she'd hear it. So, she'd wandered around camp, catching up on gossip and basically making herself a nuisance. Snapping out of her bored thoughts the molly spotted Flarepaw at the prey pile. It then dawned on the molly that she hadn't seen Flarepaw almost all day. Standing up, she strode over, a friendly yet wistful smile on her maw. "Hey Flarepaw, what's up? Anything exciting happen with you?" the apprentice asked casually, kinking her tail over her back as her golden gaze swept the pile. Eh, no fish. She wasn't interested. Focusing her gaze back on Flarepaw, the molly shifted slightly, boredom reflecting in her wide eyes.

I watch as our leader lays on the ledge he uses to call meetings. I climb the ledge, laying down beside him were close, but I'm careful to stay a polite distance away. "You know she adores you," I meow, observing the black she-cat. "I can tell, she wants to be just like you."

Batpaw winced slightly as he was patched up, hating the feel of the herbs pressing tightly against his skin; pain was a normal, everyday thing. Touch was not. A soft growl escaped him as Softberry told him he wasn't allowed to hunt or spar until she said so, but everything else was allowed. Oh, you'll pay dearly for this, Flarepaw. Nodding obediently to Softberry's words, the ebony tom snuggled deeper into the fresh moss, his filmy gaze still locked on where Pearly laid. Still no one had offered him an explanation, and that troubled him.
