A jet black tom with charcoal grey marking was sitting on the edge of the clearing. His silver eyes darted nervously back and forth.

Silverleaf shook her head. "No thank you dear. " she assured her, flicking her tail in dismissal with a cracked smile.

Jayfire chuckled, nudging her back. "Females in our clan just have really high stander and all that, not that their mean or anything, they just mostly go for the gentlemen type, and let's just say I'm nit that." he laughed a bit, purring. "Man, I wish there were more females like you in our clan" he purred, then realized what he'd said. What the frig was that dumb-crap?!! he thought to himself, trying hard not to go red in emberassement.

Starpaw purred to the elder, padded over to Sandfall, trying her best not to look glum. "Anything else?"She asked, trying to hold back gritted teeth, she added,"Ma'am."

Sandfall sighed a bit, seeing easily that Starpaw was hating her on the inside. "Look, Starpaw, I know you don't like me, you think I hate you and I'm out to get you. But im not. So please don't hate me because I scolded you."

Starpaw flickered her long skinny tail, listening to her mentor. Not knowing what to say, she said,"I don't hate you. Can I go with Zeropaw now?"Her voice pleading

"Oh, so you're that kind of guy eh? I see." She chuckled softly, licking his cheek gently. "You'll meet someone. Don't worry about it. Maybe I'll bring someone over from my clan next gathering." She winked at him, smirking.

"Oh haha, funny, I'm sure that'd work wondefuly!" He laughed, eyes brighter by the minute he talked to her. It was nice, being with her. "Come on, let's take a walk down to the river over there." He suggested with a gentle smile, a soft purr in his throat.

[Solanum]

Whispertail smirked and nodded at him. "Yes, of course. One minute though." She spun round to face Venompaw. "Venompaw, how about you go find Blackhawk? He'll look after you. I'm going for a walk." She nudged him gently with her snout, turned around and padded up to Jayfire. "New apprentice. He was mine to watch during the gathering, but he'll be safe with Blackhawk... I'm all yours." She smirked at him, padding forwards again.

Jayfire grinned, purring. His fiery orange eyes seemed to dance a bit as he looked over at her. Spiritlife was a lucky cat... He better be someone who deserved her. "You know, Spiritlifes lucky, whoever he is." He smiled, glancing over at her as they walked towards the moon lit river.
