Cheetahheart watched Amberkit walk away with Featherstar and looked around, saddened. The reek of putrefying flesh stung her nose and she winced.

"Um, so Amberkit...." She murmured as the little cat limped along beside her. "I have some sad news." Featherstar said, her tail drooping.

I Amberkit looked at her with sad eyes they were teared up

Featherstar walked her over to Maplepelt. "I'm sorry little one..." She bent down and nuzzled Amberkit lovingly. "We'll still take care of you... You have Cheetahheart, and Me, and Icepool, and the rest of the clan as well!" She said, trying to be cheerful.
