A ginger tabby lay on an table for experimenting. She had awoke to an outburst of pain in her neck and back, at the moment this particular tabby wasn't aware that large, pointed black spikes had been injected into her body. She was confused- Confused at where she was, and what was happening to her. The tabby let out a frustrated meow, but that was the moment her eyes met the mirror placed across the room. Her vision had seemed to be dull, but it was clear enough for her to see what she had become. The surprised cat had long, sharp, black spikes down her back, and her eyes were now rainbow. Had her new rainbow eyes affected her vision? Or was it just from being temporarily put to sleep? So many questions danced around in the tabby cat's mind.

She was focusing on one thing; escaping this horrid place.

The cat had pulled herself up, which was hard due to the pain in her back from having spikes injected in her body. One human placed her hands under the cat's shoulder, and picked her up. Where were they taking her?
"Lets get you outside, Dewdrop..."
The human spoke. The cat remembered her name, Dewdrop. yes, that was who she truly was. Dewdrop.

Kamel felt himself being pushed out into the Free Zone. He felt the wind whiz by as he landed hard onto the soft grass; right on his tail. "Ouch! You don't have too throw me like that you-" Suddenly he saw a huge black thing blot out the warm glowing sun; Kuro. "Oh crap!" He tried to get up but he was stumbling and his feet kept on going out from under him. He managed to throw himself over into the dandelions next to him as Kuro landed were he was. ''Freaking humans!" Kuro roared at the the truck her he was thrown from. "Curse you all the darkest, deepest abysses of he-" He was suddenly interrupted by Kamel's stingy shout. "Oh shut up! They aren't ever going to listen to you! If you keep screaming like that there going to stick some more needles in ya' and hope what's ever in it make you shut up!" Kuro shot and look at Kamel and they both got up and started walking to the blue lines in the distance. As they got closer to it, Kamel spotted a figure by it. "Lets go see who they are!" Kamel yipped and started to bolt towards them.

Caz perked her ears,hearing something in the distance. Soon,she could make out voices- both male. The cat stood and turned,nly to spot a large black shape and a tan-ish gray-ish shape approaching.
Caz felt the furs on her neck raise when she saw the black creature when she made out the texture of their coats and what they were.She meowed in suprise- there was panther here,too ? She looked at the other shape- and a coyote ?! Caz thought whether to stay or flee,but in ehr suprised did not realize she had lost her balance,and she slipped on the slippery substance called mud and right into the water. Caz puffed up as she fell in,scramblign up. Thankfully she had fallen into the shallow part,yet she was up to the chest in water. She shook her pelt,now walkign towards the shore and trying to get the water out.

Kamel was going at extremely high speeds toward the stream, and Kuro gasped in amazement. How in the world is he going that fast?! Kuro started running toward Kamel, but he saw that Kamel was already at the figure. Kamel stopped running and started walking toward the cat, looking as friendly as he could. He smiled, showing his large canines, but he did not look aggressive. "Hi! I'm Kamel, and his is Kuro." His tail gestured to Kuro, who was a little far behind him. Kamel whispered in Caz's ear. "Warning; he can get a little to big for is coat, if you know what I mean."

A startled meow escaped from Dewdrop's mouth as her paws hit the ground. The pain in her back was starting to reside, and not bothering her too much. Her new rainbow eyes had made her vision more poor, but not by much. If she were to squint, she could see as good as she did when she had her regular brown eyes. But sadly, one cannot go around squinting 24/7, so Dewdrop would sadly, have to live with poorer vision. She let out a meow of frustration once more, but decided to enjoy her somewhat limited time out in the Free Zone, but Dewdrop could not get her mind off of an escape plan.

Caz blinked,looking at the two. "Um,I do not know what you mean... My name is Caz. Nice to meet you Kamel. You too,Kuro."The cat said,her coat now flattening as she shook her pelt again. but,this only caused it to puff up with the water. The cat scowled,and sat on the grass. "ugh,I hate water sooo much right now."

Inside the forest,the lioness skid to a halt. With ehr violent purple eyes,she scanned the stream. On the opposite side of the bank,there were three figures- Caz,Kuro,and Kamel. While on her side of the bank,there were a rocks and many sharp peices of other objects,such as glass. Cautiously,the lioness padded out. The abnormally large big-cat manuvered her way from around the sharp objects and towards the stream. She crouched down at the shore,lapping up water.

Name: He doesn't know, so he goes by his experiment number (027)
Age: Unknown. Been at Vibony Labs since it started, but was quite old before that. I would say he's about 26 now, and still going strong!
Species: Some sort of canine, they many years of being experimented on have changed his appearance so you can't tell what he originally looked like.
History: 027 can't remember where he's from. All he knows if life at the lab. He's certain there was a point, early on, where an experiment made him forget everything. When he first came to Vibony Labs most of his time was devoted to escape plans, but they all failed. One by one the other animals gave up on him, leaving him to himself. Since then he's just stopped believing in the hope he might get out, and 027 just wants to die really. Animals that have been at the lab a while might know him because of his plans in the past, and newer ones might know him as 'the mad old dog thing that just stares at a wall all day' or something.
Personality: 027 doesn't care about anything or anyway. He's given up on life really, as he can't find any way out of Vibony Labs. He can be often seen lying down, his head on his laws and staring at the wall. He doesn't talk much, and he keeps himself to himself. 027 used to be cunning and was always coming up with escape plans. He used to poke his nose into everything and keep moral up. All he really needs right now is someone to show him the joys of life again, and who knows, maybe he might pick up some of his past personality if he finds someone like that...
Gender: Male
Looks: 027 has a brown pelt. His head is shaped like a german shepard dog's, but he has the body of a fox and the tail of a wolf. He has a white chest  patch, feet and tail tip. Running down his back is a light blue stripe, and his body is covered in blue spots too. His nose and pawpaws are pink, and his eyes are the same blue as his stripes and spots.

Mutations: Colour, body shape and 027 also has a prolonged life.
Strengths: Intelligence and the ability to separate himself from others. Also, 027 is a pretty decent tracker and has a good sense of smell.
Weakness: His old age (because he is old). 027 isn't as strong as he used to be, and his eyesight is starting to go. Sometimes he just wakes up one day and everything's gone blurry, or he can't see at all. They way he doesn't care about anyone or anything could also been seen as a weakness.
