Dawnflower looked up, noticing her apprentice and smiled. “Hello, Dreampaw.” She mewed, “How are you today?” The She-Cat continued to sort herbs as she waited for an answer.

The tabby noticed Frostpaw sitting near the edge of camp, watching Gorsepaw and Forestpaw. She smiled, walking over to the other apprentice. “Hi, Frostpaw!” Dovepaw greeted her.

Nettleclaw took a step back too, surprised. “Oh- uh- it’s ok! I’m sorry I didn’t see you turning.” The warrior looked embarrassed.”Are you ok?” He noticed Oakpool walking towards them and smiled. It had been less than 10 moons since he had become a warrior so he was fairly young too.

Poppyfern crouched on a branch in a tree just near enough to camp that she could see the scramble of cats waking up. She liked to watch from a distance and this was her favorite spot. Slowly she grew sleepy from little sleep, her dreams after all were disturbed by sparrowfall’s snoring, she slowly clawed her way down the trunk and landed lightly on the ground causeing a soft crunching of leaves under her paws.

Mudtoad padded along the forest floor searching for signs of intruders. His muscles ripples under his thick brown pelt. It was strange for him to go out first thing in the morning but lately he had been feeling a bit flustered. He searched his mind for a cause. a tough piece of mouse perhaps? No he thought. he hadn’t had a mouse since the time lumbertail went hunting near carrion place by accident. maybe I need more excercise?That coudlnt be it either, he practiced his moves and raced the apprentices nearly everyday. ferntail...mudtoad shook his head to get the thought of the she-cat out of his mind. He felt his pelt get hot at the thought of her pelt brushing against his. Mudtoad felt a flurry of emotion he didn’t know how to deal with so he began to run not taking notice of where he was going.

Dreampaw flicked her ears. "It's alright so far, I suppose. I just now left our den" She replied. "Is there anything we need? Are we going to make a trip outside of camp today?" The apprentice asked- she didnt get to go out often and was hoping there'd be an herb that they needed enough to have to search for it.

He nodded, still feeling slightly bad, but better. “Yeah.” He agreed with the she-cat. Nettleclaw didn’t know Lumbertail well but he seemed like what she described him to be. He looked around at all the cats around him. “Well- are you doing anything or not?” He asked.

Icepaw - Female - Apprentice - Crush; Maybe Gorsepaw shhhh - Tags; open

Icepaw was silently crouched in the forest underbrush, her petite white paws tucked beneath her chest and tail held still. As a mouse skittered by, she narrowed her hazel and blue eyes, sucking in a slight breath. The mouse detected this movement and suddenly straightened its back, tail held erect and nose alert. Icepaw knew this was her chance. Her body flashed forward, paws outstretched. When the mouse saw her snow white pelt, it squealed in alarm and darted away. “Mouse dung!” Icepaw growled in frustration, landing with a thump on her paws. An entire morning hunting, yet nothing but a scrawny vole.

Stoneleap was sitting in the corner of the camp, tail flicking as he observed the camp. Many of the cats were busy at this time of day, but not him. He had no apprentice and hadn’t been called for patrol yet. With that, he continued his observation of the camp all the while flicking the tip of his dark gray tail.
