Jaypaw awoke, he stretched himself out and yawned again. The bright rays of sun hit his eyes. Jaypaw licked his paw and groomed himself, he padded out of the den.

The quiet sounds of a fellow warrior leaving the den woke Thicketwhisper from her from her sleep. She stretched in her nest, claws kneading the moss in front of her as her tail flicked back and forth. Upon her own exit from the den she found two fellow clan mates already awake.
"Good morning Jaypaw, Wolfsong. Are we the only cats up?" She meowed quietly, the slight echo of the almost silent clearing her saving grace.

"Hey look! Another cat awake from their sleep." Jaypaw meowed. His ear flicked and he stood back up again. Jaypaw meowed for the cat to come over.

'Wolfsong is quiet today.' The brown she cat thought. Jaypaw's words snapped her attention to another awakening cat. "Oh, goodmorning Birdfeather, did you sleep well?"

Jaypaw sprang up,"can i go hunting!" He squealed. Jaypaw hopped around like a kit. He noticed and stopped,"sorry." He meowed in embarrassment.
