"My house would be best, it's closer." She set off towards her house, a small cabin in a clearing. Ruby led her inside and set her down on a small stool. "Do you need anything?" She indicated a small storage of leaves, eash with different medical properties. "You seem to have been knocked out by the gas. Here. Eat this." She handed Cadence a sweet-smelling leaf.

Cadence smelled the leaf and it woke her up a bit. "Oh, thanks Ruby," she eats the leaf. "Ack!" she barks. "It tases bitter!" She shakes her head. "Ah wish you didn't give me such 'orrible medicine!" She looks around the house from her seat.
"Nice place ya got here. It's all yours?" She looks out the window and sees the fog slowly clearing up. It swirled around and dissolved suddenly. "Hm . . .that's odd. The fog's gone. Ah wonder why . . . ?"

Ruby shook her head. "Something fishy's been up lately. If only I could find out..." She shook her head again and helped Mon off of the stool. "Hey- why don't we try and find out what's going on?" Adventure wasn't her style, but she was always open to a little bit.

"Sure thing Ruby! Mai bones could always get some exercise! Though, Ah think we should go to the market first. Ah'm sorta hungry! Maybe a nice piece of steak! Heheh!" Mon begins drooling, thinking of food. Just then, her tummy rumbles. "Eyep. Let's go eat some food!" She wags her short tail, waiting for Ruby's response.

"Of course! I do love me a good steak!" Ruby started walking to the market place, but not before shoving a bunch of leaves in her helmet. "For saftey measures." She said to Mon, explaining this.

"Gret then. Let's go!" She looked at her friend who was stuffy leaves in her armor. "For safety!" She then walks out the door waiting for her friend. She yawns. She still feels really tired. "I wonder why..." She states. She then sees movement in the corner of her left eye. She begins to growl and her fur stands on end.

Ruby tried to whip around, but the fog was making her sleepy. "What--" She yawned. "What's that?" Ruby asked, stumbling towards Mon. "I can't see clearly..." With a huge yawn, her front legs buckled and she nearly fell asleep.

Mon continued growling. This wasn't ordinary fog. She tried holding her breathe. She notices that the fog was pink; it had to have some sort of sleeping powder in it. She felted a bit if energy in her body. "Maybe Ah can do a Solar Flare..." She tried breathing in small amounts. She saw Ruby on the ground. "Ruby! Ah'm coming!" She tripped when she tried to run to her. Her legs were asleep! Mon tried dragging herself to Ruby. When she reached her she took off her helmet. She took out a couple of leaves and put then in Ruby's mouth. "Maybe this 'ill work...."
