Stella;Servatis;Betess
Being the little traveler she is, Angel was very anxious to get going already. She was fidgeting in her spot while Socks explained the game plan, her tail lashing furiously behind her. She wasn't prepared to interrupt her Alpha while he was speaking; she knew that would get her nowhere but on bad terms with Socks. That wouldn't necessarily be such a wonderful idea anyway; she was beginning to develop a huge crush on him. Not because he was Alpha, but because of his personality.
He seemed to be everything she wasn't. He's smart, she's an airhead. He's confident around everyone, she's shy around new people. He has an air of sophistication, she is more focused on having fun. He thinks before his actions, she just does whatever comes to mind first. For example, Socks made a huge plan to confront the Maleficum pack instead of just invading and attacking, which is what Stella would have done if she were Alpha.
She admired him for his confidence and out-going personality. The sad part is, Stella has yet to realize that she is confident and out-going, along with a bubbly personality. She thinks of herself as some shy, childish betess.
Stella decided to grab a quick meal before the raid. She trotted off without a word, her stomach tightening from hunger. She decided this was a perfect time to practice her stealth. She had not really been able to practice since she rarely went hunting with everyone. Some kind pack member would usually bring her at least a squirrel to eat, but now she had to get food for herself.
Upon scanning the area, she found a large tree, a boulder, some grass with dead leaves scattered all over the green plush blades, and a bird perched on a low branch, facing the other way.
"Hehehe...my revenge has come..." She thought to herself, a small smirk finding its way onto her face.
She crouched low to the ground, narrowing her eyes in concentration. She slowly but surely stalked past the boulder, stopping to examine the leaves infront of her. She skillfully found her way through the maze of leaves, not touching a single one. Then, she stopped right behind the bird, preparing her legs for impact.
Her back legs coiled up like a spring, and in an instant, Stella was leaping towards the bird. It had'nt realized until now that a predator was close by. Stella caught the bird in her mouth, breaking its little spine. She quickly ate it in a few bites, enjoying her victory as if the birds were no longer around to bug her in the morning.
"Well, I did...ok; not as good as I hoped for," She said to herself. "When we raid Maleficum, I'm going to need to be a bit faster, and maybe more vigilant." She continued, rambling to herself.
She then heard a loud howl, identifying it as Socks. Stella quickly got to her feet, sprinting past the grass, jumping over the boulder to give her more of a start. She soon arrived at the den, waiting in anticipation. She glanced up at Socks, waiting for instruction.
