The tom growled lowly in embarrassment, his tears slowly stopping now, as well as the coughing, though the coughing never stopped fully. Eventually, he closed his eyes, his cheeks still flushed up brightly from Eaglestripe's show of affection earlier. "What took you so long to get here ...?" he muttered softly, opening one of his emerald eyes to look to the cat.

"I was crying in a tree far away from here, i shredded it up and then came looking for you." He explained in a weary voice. Eaglestripe closed his eyes and purred more.

The tom huffed lowly, still blushing as he now nuzzled his nose with the other tom "mousebrain ..." he said softly, though how his voice was soft and calm now, it wasn't to be in an insulting way. Very softly, the english cat began to purr. "you have changed a lot since then ..." he finally spoke after a bit of silence. "your all grown up now, and probably don't need me around anymore ... so why do you keep coming back?" he murmured, a bit distant in thought as he looked over to EagleStripe.

The tom froze, his face now practically glowing with a bright blush at Eagelstripe's words. "y-y-y-y-you what!?" he asked, unable to fully speak now from the shock. His tail and fur puffed up like a giant puff of fluff, his tail now straight, and his ears slightly perked, though with his natural earl-flop, they didn't move much.

His jaw dropped a bit now, frozen in place. It took him a good few minutes to snap out of it before he looked to the side, seeming to mutter something under his breath, though it was barely audible. His tail twitched occasionally from his embarrassment, his fur still fluffed up a bit - though since it was short, it made only a small difference. "what ever am i going to do with you ... m-mousebrain" he muttered softly, his blush still bright on his cheeks, though he slowly shuffled closer, quickly licking the tom's forehead before turning his head away again, his blush even brighter now.

Eaglestripe smiled and responded,"i love you too, like i said before." He nuzzled him again and licked his forehead back.
