Howl
Howl smiled as the leader walked off, leaving him to his own devices. Sighing, he watched with a slightly shocked flick of his ear as his breath puffed into a cloud of frozen air before him. Leaf-bare was coming, and quickly. He looked around, searching for his sister Gwyn. When he saw her sitting and eating with Otterkit, his lip twitched in a smile. Sighing once more, he got to his paws and bounded away from Eaglestar's sleeping spot. Heading towards the edge of the temporary camp, he cocked his ears and listened. Their prey pile was getting low, and with everyone remaining within camp, it was going to get lower. It was time someone went out hunting. And Howl was more than willing to get away from the noisy cats. As much as he was grateful and owed his life to Sun clan, he couldn't abandon his nomadic ways just like that.
Gwyn
Gwyn frowned. "Have you ever thought that perhaps it's not that they don't want you, or that their dead, but that they can't find you or are unable to care for you?" She asked, cocking her head. She purred soothingly, licking the top of his head smiling. "Besides, you have family here, Otterkit. Everyone here is your brother, your sister, your elder, your cousin. Maybe even like a mother and father to you." She purred, looking at him with a gentle warmth only a she-cat could produce.
