Lightpaw sat, feeling a little left out. Viperpaw and Wolfpaw had gone to get their wounds treated with Duskpaw, leaving her alone. She supposed she could always follow them...but she didn't want to annoy them, trailing after them like a clingy kit. And she was restless; she wanted to go out and hunt or train or even just...run.
And why shouldn't she? Eaglestar had forbidden cats from leaving camp without permission...but she didn't have to know. Just a quick walk couldn't hurt anyone. With a small nod to herself, she got to her paws, shaking out her fur. She meandered over to the edge of the camp, sitting casually in the shade of the grass. She licked her paw, her eyes flickering from side to side to see if anyone was watching her. Seeing no eyes turned her way, she slipped quickly into the grass.

"That's your choice." replied Eaglestar, her expression unreadable and she looked Songpaw in the eye. "Do you need me to tell them? Or can you do it yourself?"
At the sound of her name, Eaglestar's head shot up, looking to see who was calling her. Spotting the black she-cat, Eaglestar got to her paws. Looking back at Songpaw apologetically, the leader hurried across the camp to meet her. "Darkfang?" That wasn't the right name, was it? Ah, it doesn't matter. "What is it?"
