"it's changed a lot since then .. and yet ..." he trailed off, now sighing as he closed his eyes. "what is there left for me to do ... he's independent now ... doesn't need me around ..."

He didn't say much more after that, as he began coughing blood again, causing him to collapse forward. He didn't bother getting up though, now slowly opening his eyes, leaving them half lidded. "please ... leave me be for a bit RavenLeap ... i need some time to think ..." he murmured, curling his tail around his cold body weakly. He stayed silent now, occasionally coughing as the pain in his chest grew slowly. 'maybe it would be for the best if i go ... he doesn't need me nagging him all the time ... after all ... he's all grown up now ... and doesn't need me to look after him' he thought, slowly letting his eyes grow heavier, though stopping when everything was just a small slit of sight, 'he'll be fine ...'

Ravenleap nodded and ran to a tree, climbing up it.

Eaglestripe saw Ravenleap, he looked straight ahead, seeing Earlgray. He slowly padded up to him, hurt in his eyes. Eaglestripe sat down beside the cat and nuzzled him.

The cat flinched at the sudden feeling of being touched, lifting his head weakly to see who it was, having thought it was Ravenleap trying to get him to stand. He was surprised to see it wasn't the Japanese cat though, and instead it was the one he had thought of leaving behind, EagleStripe. "W-What are you doing here ...?" he asked, voice soft and weak before he coughed again, some blood trickling from his mouth and slightly staining the fur on his chin. "I-I thought you were out hunting ... m-mosuebrain .." he muttered, his voice a little distant as he rested his head on his paws now, turning his gaze away from EagleStripe.

The tom opened his green eyes and blinked the fuzziness away. He yawned and looked down at Romano, who was fast asleep next to him. Smiling, he gently licked Romano's cheek.

"Hey dude, im sorry that i yelled at you. And i just wanted to find you, i saw you where a bit hurt when i yelled at you....... Can you ever forgive me?" He pleaded, his voice a bit fragile and weary.

The cat was silent for a bit, but soon let out a soft grumble that was inaudible, before soon seeming to flinch constantly ... he was crying now. "s-stupid mousebrain!" he managed to stutter through the soft sobs. His tail had fluffed up a bit from what the other cat had said, twitching occasionally along with his crying. "y-you never change ... s-stupid ..." he muttered, gazing over to the tom from over his shoulder, his eyes teary.
