Nimblepaw was crossing the branches slowly, trying not to slip when a flash of red caught her eye. There sitting on a branch was a red cardnial just ready for the pickings. Safety forgotten, the mottled grey she-cat got into her best crouch, or at least as best as she could try without a mentor, and leapt. There was a flurry of cries and feathers as the bird tried to get away opting to take flight. But Nimblepaw jumped into the air after it, and with her claws the two fell into the river. Nimblepaw came up for air carrying the dead bird in her mouth. "Wflh thft wfw wnderful" She grumbled.

Riverpaw padded alongside the other apprentices to camp. She was proud of their catch.

Starpaw smiled. They reached camp, and put the catches on the fresh kill pile. Willowstar padded up to them,and smiled. "I think WillowClan's going to have some new warriors!" she purred. She raced up the High Rock and called a meeting.
"We have new warriors! Starpaw, Riverpaw, Lightningpaw, Sharkpaw, Lilacpaw, Mossypaw, and Foxpaw, please come forward."

Lightningpaw was excited. He was going to made a warrior!

Sharkpaw was startled at the announcement but his eyes were shinning.

Vixenpaw watched as the other apprentice's came into the clearing. Jealousy clouded her orange eyes for a moment before she slunk away quickly, before anycat could catch her. Or stop her.

Starpaw, Lilacpaw, Mossypaw, and Foxpaw smiled. They went up, and Foxpaw waited for his sister.
