Wings of Fire: The Darkest Hour (Not Accepting)

Sapphire nodded." Thank you, Snowstorm. Of course, I'll still tell them which one was born with too much fire, and too little, so they keep them on." She said, handling the objects carefully. Her ears swivelled as she heard Stingtail talking."Who's that?" She questioned, turning and walking into the cave. She reacted quickly to seeing the newcomer, pulling Ember and Inferno toward her. She carefully put the necklace on Inferno, before pulling him closer.


Ember turned from looking up to Jelly to looking at Stingtail, before simply going:"Churrip!" He surprised himself with the noise he made. He made a happy Chrrip noise when he saw Sapphire. He was pulled closer by her. He looked at Inferno, who was now within reaching distance. he was about to touch him when a necklace was put on Inferno, and his scales stopped smoking. He reached out and touched his brother, and he was still oddly warm. He cuddled up next to him, trying to warm up.

Jelly looked at the dragonet in surpris then realized what must have happened. She bent down to nuzzle the two deagonets and just like she thought she didn't get burned. She smiled happily.

"Cute kids," the hybrid smiles before darting off into the sky, rain again sizzling on the burn Rocket had left across her muzzle. She soars straight up into the sky, then lands directly above the cave. Stingtail presses an ear down to the stones, listening to what was going on inside.

Snowstorm dipped her head. "I'm happy to help in any way," she said softly. She followed Sapphire back into the cave, sky-blue eyes swiveling to Stingtail, and she narrowed them. "Not sure," she growled, as the hybrid left the cave. "At least they're gone." Snow glanced back at Sapphire and the two dragonets, a small smile appearing on her face.

Inferno chirped happily when Sapphire came back, and he tilted his head curiously as a necklace was put on him. He played with the pyrite pendant for a minute, then stopped as Ember cuddled next to him. He squeaked happily, also cuddling close to his brother as Jelly nuzzled them both. He started to yawn, resting his head on Sapphire's forearm.

Rocket: "Ooooookay sure" he said, shunting her out of his cave harshly as she turned to leave. He then walked out the cave himself, wondering where Sapphire was. He looked around, sniffling as rain pelted onto his scaled back. He thought he saw a glint of movement and red scales and soared over to it, shaking out his scales every few seconds to rid it them of water.

I sat by an oasis in the desert, enjoying the cool breeze blowing from the water, and the sun as a basked in it. As I rested there, I chewed on the bones of some large rodent I had caught earlier.

~Paradise~
Leaping through the tall trees of the rainforest by my tail, I paused for a moment, worried my companion had fallen off. I heard the brown iguana complain behind me, on my back, about why we had stopped. I shook my head and smirked, continuing on in my fun, swinging by my tail.

I sped through the water of a small, empty bay, doing laps and leaving the water nothing but bubbles. I stopped after swimming for a little over five minutes or so, and gently swam over to the shore to flop on the sand and sunbathe.

After a visit with my father and his father in the Ice Kingdom, I started traveling back from the border towards the Sky Kingdom, or at least the border between Sand and Sky. I decided I would fly while above the Sand Kingdom.

After finishing rubbing the rock on all his burns he put the rock back in the bag and swung it around his neck. He got up and walked over to were the others were , he bent down to look at the little dragonets then he turned to sapphire. "Listen I know you probably have a lot to think about right now but that nightwing wanted that dragonet ... And night wings don't give up... They might be back one day." He said a hint of worrie in his voice. "And then everyone notices the no burns on my face" he narrated sarcasticly in his mind.

Sapphire smiled as Inferno rested a head on her forearm.He looks so much like... ACH! NO NO NO! DON'T THINK ABOUT THAT!She yelled mentally, at herself. She gently draped the other necklace over Ember, wondering how the other dragonets hadn't noticed that he looked like a much paler version of herself. She sighed, letting herself lay down, before nuzzling the dragonets herself. " You're going to grow up, big and strong. I just know it." She whispered to them. She looked at Everest." Yes, i know. we'll have to move, if i want them to grow up in safety." She sighed, looking at the two, small dragonets. They really meant the world to her.


Ember felt a necklace be draped around his neck too. He 'yarked' happily, noticing that he was getting warmer by the minute. He nuzzled back when Sapphire nuzzled them. He yawned and layed his head on his brother's back, comforted by the larger warmth of his brother's body.
