"It was for Ripplepaw really. I was going to help him but you can come and supervise us." Vixenpaw meowed not wanting a warrior to be there. She wanted to prove that she was going to be a helpful warrior and having another for her help wasn't setting it.

"I'm fine, Fogstar." Quietrain meowed, blinking her blue eyes. "This is Nervis. I went out for moss and ran into him, and the poor tom's lost. It's too late to take him home now, so I was wondering if he could spend the night here." The she-cat didn't know what he leader would say. She was aware that Fogstar had no idea about how skittish the tom was, and that he'd be safer here then out in the forest.

Ripplepaw stopped in his bouncing towards the camp entrance to turn to face the cat who had spoken. He saw Piegonclaw there, and she and Vixenpaw had both offered to help the Scottish fold! Great StarClan, this was too good to be true!
"Would you both really want to help me? Thank you both, so much! Pigeonclaw, we were about to head out of camp for a quick hunt.. maybe on the way back we could train?" He wagged his little tail like an excited dog, and he was almost shaking with glee in spite of himself.

If any other cat had asked, Fogstar probably would have said no, but because it was his trusted medicine cat. . . he nodded slowly. "Alright Quietrain. If you believe he is not a risk, he may spend the night. It's too dangerous for him to go if he's lost. The wolves may find him," he sighed, relaxing the slightest bit. "However, he is not to leave your side. Why don't you get him something to eat from the fresh-kill pile?" With that, the amber-eyed tom dipped his towards Nervis and turned back to face the queens resting in the nursery along with their kits.

He shook his head no before adding on, "But I do know how to fight" He knew how to fight for many times he went out to gather herbs he saw apprentices and their mentors practicing. He always copied the moves and every night he snuck out of camp and practiced them on trees.

The she cat sighed a gave a nod to Pigeonclaw before she bounced after Ripplepaw with a smile on her face. She liked to see others smile especially if they needed the help. Vixenpaw then padded out of camp with her tail hooked in the air.

Pigeonclaw followed the excited apprentices. A hunt would be good, the fresh-kill pile was looking a bit low. As she was leaving, she spotted a loner with Quietrain. Her fur bristled a bit as she followed the apprentices trail. What was he doing here? She picked up her pace and caught up to the apprentices. "Slow down a bit, would you?" she mewed in mock tones. "You'll scare all the prey in BrookClan away!"
