His head shot up at the sudden contact. He gazed down at the sleeping cat beside him and blushed. He had the sudden urge to move but he stayed there. His mind was telling him to get up and leave but his body just laid there. He stared at Sandstripe for a few moments before laying his head down on his paws and curled his tail around the sleeping Spanish cat beside him.

He walked for what seemed like hours, yet going no where all at once ... He lifted his head up to gaze around, but didn't recognize the area. As he looked back down at his paws, he found himself thinking about EagleStripe again, only making tears fall now. His tail hung low, as did his ears, feeling lonely to the point of feeling empty. He debated on going back the way he came, or to keep going ... occasionally gazing off to the almost never ending forest. Back at camp, he would see the one that made him hurt, and happy, the most ... but out there, he would be able to start over, and leave the past where it belonged ... in the past. As he thought, he soon sat down, gazing out into the distance ... the wind blowing his short fur to one side.
