"Is there something wrong with your den? But, if you don't want to, I would suggest out of camp, mind the weather..."

Manestar laughed a little. "No, there isn't anything wrong with my den. I just might want to stay in there forever but I think I'll be fine. And I think I don't have to worry about the weather." Manestar smiled and then turned to go into his den, waving his tail as he walked through the den entrance.

Manestar found his nest in exactly the same state he had left it. He climbed into it and lay down, hoping that he would have some peace of mind tonight. He closed his eyes and my was sure he saw Lilacfrost appear in his mind. He shook it away, thinking he was crazy, and sleep stole over him.
