As the cat lay there, cold and alone, he couldn't help but remember the times when he and EagleStripe got along. It was a long story, but he could still remember it clearly ...

EarlGrey had been searching for the small kit for a while, and had begun to get worried, going so far as to search far into the forest. It had only been when returning to camp that he had heard the soft snoring in an old rabbit hole in a nearby tree, finding the small kit asleep there. He had let out a soft sigh and shook his head, gently picking the kit up and returning him to camp.

It was a hot day out, and he and EaglePaw had gone out by the creek to cool off. He had been relaxing at the edge of the creek, when the small cat had splashed him with water, making his a little annoyed, but soon splash the kit back with his tail, resulting in a water fight that left them both soaked, yet filled with laughter.

Sadly, things changed when the ceremony was held ... EarlGrey had spoken multiple times with the growing cat, saying how he didn't think he was ready to be a warrior yet. Things only got worse, resulting into a fight that the other cat thought would prove he was ready to be a warrior ... and he won ... leaving EarlGrey to lay there on the ground, defeated and hurt. He did nothing more as he watched from the sidelines, seeing the young cat he once knew turn into a warrior for the clan. Ever since that day, he could never forgive himself, nor could he forget how things used to be.

He stiffened at the memory, one of his old scars beginning to hurt again as he coughed, leaving a small splatter of blood on the ground. As he tried to regain himself, he couldn't help but look at the small splatter, knowing he would need to find some medicine for his condition yet again. It took him a few minutes, but soon he managed to get to his feet, slowly padding off to find what he needed for both the medicine, and gathering of food for the clan.

"Well... I don't know honestly.. One minute I'm sleeping in my room then the next... I'm here.." He smiled, inspecting Romano.

Eaglestripe panted on the ground, he regained his focus and got up. He sighed again and ran to another tree, climbing up it and laying down, crying a bit.

" R-right ". He tucked his tail between his legs as he closely watched Sandstripe. " W-well we should get back to camp, yes? " he said padding a little ways away from Sandstripe. He felt kinda dizzy and his stomach felt like it was fluttering. " S-stupid body stop " he muttered to himself trying to keep his thoughts straight. A small scowl on his face as he stared intently at the ground trying to pull himself together.

He nodded, "Sure!" He paused for a moment, "Are you sick? You seem a little dizzy.." He said, stepping closer.
