Cinder padded through the entrance to camp. Two rabbits were clamped in his jaws. He may not be a hunter, but nighttime hunts were very relaxing. With a short yawn he dropped once in the center of camp for the pack to share and dropped the other by Vern's den and sat down. The Alpha must be fed first, and he, purely out of loyalty and respect to his Alpha, decided to offer the freshly killed rabbit to Vern. He flicked his ears as the twitter of birds struck the camp. Every dawn, that annoying squeeking would errupt. Suppressing a low growl, Cinder stood up, stretched, then sat back down. He felt strangely rested for a wolf who had been hunting through the night.
