NEWS February 11th: Eerie Pastel adoptables is now on indefinite hiatus! Every character except for 2 have found new homes, and the two that were left over, I've decided to keep. Thank you so much to everyone who purchased Eerie Pastels! I hope everyone enjoys their new characters. <3 I'm keeping this topic open, in case I ever decide to release another set of adoptables. It's not a priority at the moment, but I did have lots and lots of fun with it, so who knows - I might come back to it someday!

How to adopt:
- Post in this thread which character you'd like to adopt. Once you've posted, this character will be reserved for you for 24 hours.
- Within these 24 hours, please send me payment through trade.
- Once I have received payment, I will PM you the original drawing of the character, without the watermark, on a plain white background (transparent backgrounds also available, just ask!).
- If I do not receive payment within 24 hours, the character will once again be up for grabs. However, you may still offer me payment afterwards, and if no one else has reserved or bought the character, it will still go to you.
Some things to note:
- I draw on a very small canvas. The resolution the characters are on the art above is the resolution of the art I will send you. You can always scale up the picture yourself once you've bought a design, though the original resolution is also perfect for putting in your signature!
- By default, I reserve the right to continue to display sold adoptables, on this thread and elsewhere on the web, with a watermark layered on top crediting the current owner of the design. If you would rather I do not continue to display a character I've sold to you, feel free to say so. I can also credit the character to an off-site account of yours, if you'd prefer.
- The amount of pets I take as payment is purely based on what I would personally be happy with; there's no math to the different tiers and no relationship between prices in pets VS prices in C$. I am simply leaving the door open for all payment options that I would be glad to receive, to give buyers as many options as possible.

Rules:
- Please only reserve a character when you know for certain you will be able to pay within 24 hours (unforeseen circumstances are of course forgiven).
- Once you've bought a character, you may do with it as you please. You may change the design, the name, the story, anything you'd like.
- Feel free to edit the art I've sent you in any way you see fit.
- If you post the art I send you (or new art or writing featuring the character) online, please attribute credit to seventeendeer on Toyhouse.
- You may not resell the character, but you may gift it away.

A giraffe who grew so tall, her horns pierced the heavens, infusing her with divine power. However, lonely high above the world of mortals, she only used this power to shrink herself down to a normal size. Even now, though the physical distance is no more, the world around her somehow still feels all too far away.

Once, a long time ago, this angel was pure and empty, untainted by emotion. To prevent a powerful demon from coming back from the dead, the powers that be tasked her with keeping the demon's heart locked away inside herself. However, the longer she has carried this heart, the more she has found something like emotion stirring within the depths of her person - and the more she finds she's beginning to understand why the demon did what he did.
3. Katarina (450C$) [SOLD; now belongs to Merritt]
A vicious high school "queen bee", who was cursed by a goth girl she was bullying to become possessed by a demon - though as her behavior before and after being possessed has been just about equally horrid, her friends and family have yet to notice the change.
4. Laila (500C$) [SOLD; now belongs to Loelya]
A human woman who was bitten by an angel during an altercation at her church. A demon has gifted her a magical mask that will hide her from the eyes of the divine, saving her from becoming an angel herself, if only for the time being.
5. Soulshackle (250C$) [SOLD; now belongs to bit-the-hand1987]
A small imp who took her tomfoolery a step too far in the eyes of the divine. To prevent her from causing trouble in the future, an angel was implanted in the back of her head, making her incapable of thinking anything but pure and righteous thoughts.

With her melodious voice, this demon lures angels into her lake of fire deep within the infernal realm. The light of angels she has consumed grows like crystals across her body. Rumor has it she is hoping to attract the attention of a very special angel.

In an act of rebellion against the wicked sorcerer who created her, she sewed the eye in her stomach shut so he would no longer be able to use her as a spy. Unfortunately, no one has told her about the ear on her back.

To stop their fighting from laying waste to the land, the gods sewed them together with magic thread. Now they hunt the gods with twice the fury.
