Welcome!

Hello all, I've decided to make some free horse character designs! I will be doing customs and probably some premades too, and I will do traditional or digital art. For digital I can only color linearts, though.

Rules

I'll get straight to the rules so people might actually read them!

- Be nice and polite and follow all CS rules.
- If you have a problem or misunderstanding, please contact me, I'll be glad to help.
- If you ask for a specific lineart, make sure it can be used for free adoptables/colored by someone else. I don't want "legal" battles 'cause you didn't read the rules!
- Be patient, I have a life. xP No whining, begging, or nagging, please
- Don't ask for a pink horse, these are natural colored horse adopts.
- I might do some small unnatural markings or line edits. (i.e. feathers in the mane, body paint, tack)
- One at a time! (per person) Also, please don't order another one right after I finish the first, don't take up all the slots all the time!
- Be descriptive! I don't mind superlong descriptions if it gets you what you want. If it's based on a picture that isn't yours, please make it original somehow.
- Don't be afraid to ask questions! I'm not scary, really.

So, lately I have become obsessed with horses and horse color genetics. I would recommend that you know a little bit about horse colors if you want to adopt, especially if you are describing the appearance of the horse you want for a custom. If you're going to use pictures, you can use one picture for the color, one for the markings, etc. or say "loosely based on" this picture, just to make it original (if you found the pictures on Google). If it's your horse, that's okay.

If you want to read up a bit on horse color genetics, check out this site. It's really very interesting, though it might not seem so.


Things NOT to say:

Brown. This could be anything from seal brown to liver chestnut, please be specific so you get what you want.
___ with white spots/patches. Again, be specific! Is it tobiano? overo? tovero? sabino? appaloosa?
White (if it's an all-white horse). Is it cremello? Extreme overo? I need to know this so I can get the details right.

Just be specific so I can give you what you want! Sorry if I sound mean here, I'm just trying to help.

Here, you can order a custom horse. Make sure to be thorough and original! Be warned, though, traditional takes a while.
