Double posting for a leetle bump, plus announcement/question~

I really need to take a break from making Christmas gifts so, I've been hatching an idea. >>
I'm thinking of selling 'custom tokens'. There are a few pets I'm really wanting to get, so I'm wondering, I may feature a pet or two. It/they'd be labeled as worth x many custom tokens that could be used at any time.
Custom tokens would come in different types; White, Bronze, Silver, and Gold. White tokens allow for common Arbex with no abnormalities, Bronze tokens allow for one abnormality, Silver tokens allow for up to two abnormalities and an accessory, and Gold tokens allow for any number of abnormalities and accessories. The type of token you'd get is random and you will most often get White. Bronzes would be fairly uncommon. Silvers would be rare. Gold would be very rare. I'd be using a randomizer to determine what people get to make it fair.
Customs would be ordered by sending me a color palate and a description or general idea of what you want.

Would any of you guys be interested in something like that? =]

Oooh I like the idea, depending on price. I got barely anything from the 18th, so if it is that then I couldnt afford anyway.

Oh, that's an interesting idea!
But wouldn't it be unfair to people who payed with a rarer pet and maybe get white while someone who pays with a more common pet gets bronze/silver/gold?

It'll just be whatever I want most at the moment, from whenever. =] I'm thinking of putting up three payment options at a time, two less rare, one a little more rare, just to get a little variety in there and make sure some of the less rich members can have a shot at getting something too.

Yeah, I was thinking about that. Not exactly sure how to counter that.
Perhaps I could determine what people would get beforehand (but not advertise it so it's still a surprise) and if One of them pops up as getting a bronze/silver/gold, all from that set would get one along with whatever else they'd get? Of course that only solves the problem of 'within sets'. xP

Or, I could set it up so people could choose what type they want? Or trade in previously bought tokens to get better ones? I dunno, any suggestions on that? xD

I think you could keep the same point system you're using. Have set amounts for each token (white being least points, gold being most points) and do it like that? :3

That way whoever pays lots points (ergo lots of pets/rarer pets) will get gold
and those who pay less or more common pets can get white. ^^?
semi-hiatus
will be on very infrequently
art commissions will take a bit long, sorry ;-;

I like that idea, or have the rarity increase your chances somehow. Like if you offered a UR pet or an OMG so rare! you would automatically get at least a bronze/silver, though gold would still be a rarity. Or if you just offered a rare than you couldn't get more than a bronze. That'd seem fair to me. 83
Or what azalea said, that makes sense too.

Ah! I like this. =D
I was hoping I could do it for just wl pets though since, although I do love all the nice trade fodder, my collection still needs some beefing up and I don't trade very much at all. x3 It'd have to be tweaked slightly for that purpose, but it could work.

I also want to limit the amount of Customs I'll be making, but I could easily set up an order list and limit it to five or so, while making a second list to keep track of who has how many of which tokens. =]
