her name is Basil. this is not her real name. that would be Basilisk, but she believes that is such a cliche name. 'Oh you're a snake, let's name you after a freaking snake'. Besides, she likes the name Basil.

species
Basil is a snake. no one knows the exact species she is, but it seems she is close to a cobra, so most assume that is what she is.

personality
Basil is usually stoic, impassive and reserved. She refuses most questions about her past to people who did not know her identity already, and even then treated most of them coldly and indifferently, and with a very serious attitude. Her span of tolerance is short, and she frequently becomes annoyed or impatient with people around her. She also tends to be opinionated and outspoken.

Personality;
Delilah is a very happy, energetic, friendly, bubbly, yet clumsy little girl. Shes constantly finding new people to befriend and though she doesn't always have the right energy for everyone, she still tries to be the best friend she can be. Delilah is smart but usually uses her wits for jokes and smiles. She can usually put a smile on any face, but she understands when times are inappropriate. Delilah is adventurous, confident, and the "Half full" kind of girl.

History;
The biggest memory that Delilah holds is one that she shared with one of her good friends, probably one that would be her best if Delilah favored any.

"I was young, still exploring the space that surrounded me, which I loved doing since I was too young to even understand the complicated world that I had been brought into. The dirt path I followed, narrow yet spacious, was well hidden within the tall grass and trees that I passed with every waking step that I took. Dirt and rocks flew when I did a little jump, jog, dance, kick, or skip.

Along the path I noticed the rocks getting bigger and less frequent. Five minutes of walking went by and not a single rock was found, even with all of my focus and attention put into finding another rock to kick. In the distance, I saw a pebble and with my gaze so fixated, I didn't notice the small, white body that lingered in the grass that had been watching me in that instance.

Picking up my pace as I neared the pebble, I suddenly caught myself throwing a paw back, then forward, kicking the small rock that then hit the small white blur hidden within the grass. My eyes never left the rock until the small amount of white caught my eye. Cautiously, I decided to approach the small body, careful to stay out of harm's way. Movement came from the little bit of fluff that caused my heart to pound and body to freeze, and now at a low crouch, my pace continued.

The thick grass tickled my underbelly as I moved toward the apparent living fluff. With eyes flickering with curiosity and a touch of fear, my pace to quickened, but being so focused I didn't notice the root from a nearby tree popping out of the ground. My paw hooked under the root, and without having the time to stop nor slow myself, my torso tumbled forward. The weight of my legs flying over-head pulled my body in a tumble, rolling into the white bunch of fur.

The white fluff lay on my chest and I lay still until the slightest movement, and then sudden squirm causes a reaction to get it off. I jumped up, the white thing dropping on the ground below me. I backed up slowly. The white fluff began to uncurl, two blue eyes peering at me from between a pair of heavy, brown leather goggles and a brown stripped scarf. Realizing that it wasn't a huge,white, puffy bug, I suddenly said "Oh, hello there!" and brought my face closer, 'I'm Delilah'."

Delilah's Friends;
Spirit and Charlie are great friends with everyone and Delilah would be included.
Kali is more of an independent one, though she does like Delilah and often catches herself grinning and giggling with Delilah
Ellie is Delilah's very first friend, and vise versa. These are the two you'd see together almost all the time.
There are a lot of others that Delilah has yet to meet, but for now, this is who she knows, as her journey has just begun.

Do you believe in love at first sight?;
I don't. I don't think you can love someone before knowing them, or at least having an idea of who they are. What you see, is simply lust. When I first found this post I figured I wouldn't find anything, as I am extremely picky about my characters. Second character I saw caught my eye immediately, and though Im not one to try in competitions, she's was too beautiful to pass up all that simply. Building her character in the last little bit has been great, but now I realize how much I really love her now, how much she's grown on me.

Stuff, Things;
Delilah has a special pink blanket that her mama left her when she was just a pup. She usually keeps it at home, but she's occasionally caught cuddled up in it. Its a large, Pink, super soft and fluffy blanket. Delilah also has a red ball but isn't attached to it, she uses it a lot more then her other toys she owns though. Delilah has a collar that Spirit often tells her to take off because no one else in the family has one, but Delilah likes wearing it none the less.

Delilah, her siblings, and her mother were all on the street. Though the mom was protective and wouldn't let anyone come close, she took in a pink, soft blanket that a human had given her. Delilah's siblings had all started parting ways and venturing out on their own, while Delilah wanted to stay close to her mother. Eventually, Delilahs curiosity grew much too strong and she decided to adventure a little. A short time went by and Delilah went to return to her mother, but her mother was no longer there. She never returned though Delilah waited for 3 days continuously. Delilah found a near by place where she could stash the blanket while out looking for food, and family. Delilah was actually hiding the blanket under a porch where humans had found her and brought her in the house. They got a beautiful collar and soon after, her red ball. one of the humans decided that Delilah was a burden and threw her out of the house along with her stuff. She'd found someplace else to stash her stuff before running into Ellie.

"As you probably know my name is Rukiya, a name given by my Mother in remembrance of my Great Grandmother who passed away a couple of years before I was born. It doesn't sound very cheery the whole idea of being named after a dead person but I find it very sweet and I'm sure I would have loved my Grandmother if I had met her.

I had a normal childhood, nothing to tragic and nothing to princess-like but to me it's the definition of a perfect childhood. I was raised in a rich forest filled with wildlife, flowers in every corner, birds singing high in the trees, monkeys swinging high above your heads and cool ponds and streams are a common sight... It's such a beautiful place."

"Blunt. I will tell you straight away if you look bad, have insulted me or if you just annoying the life out of me! I will not sugarcoat it in anyway whatsoever as you are asking my opinion and I am giving my opinion. Maybe this isn't the best way to make friends but isn't knowing that I'm telling the truth better that knowing that I'm lying through my teeth?

Okay I'm not going to lie here, I'm not the bravest lioness in the world. I'm scared of so many thing it's unreal! For example if I was just walking along and some animal barked, I would be running as fast as I could away from that sudden noise. Ugh! My friends always jump out of nowhere because they know they'll get a reaction. You would think they'd get bored but nooooo.

I can be timid around new animals especially if they are really big and intimating! You can't blame me though, have you seen how big some animals can be? They can quite literally shake the ground! Scary right?"

Hey, my name is Clovis-Finn! I'm not sure if my name is common, uncommon, rare or one of a kind! All I know is that it comes from two male characters from the book Journey To The River Sea. According to my parents I resemble both Finn and Clovis though when I read the book I saw no resemblance whatsoever! Well maybe to Clovis... I do cry quite easily.

Then again I am adventurous and prefer the outdoors to the indoors, it just appeals to me more so maybe I am like Finn. Oh well! It's not like it matters or anything!

★ Loud : I am the loudest person I know and sometimes I don't even realise I'm being loud! I will just be talking to my friend and then some random person will just come over to us telling us that we're being to noisy and are distracting everyone.
☆ Curious : That glowing object that fell from the sky? I'll be the first one running down the road in search of the mystery object and examining it before all the professional scientists. Still waiting for something to fall from the sky though... Still waiting.
★ Annoying (Apparently ) : So according to some people I can be quite irritating. I talk way to much and when that is linked with the fact that I am very loud... It isn't exactly the best combination.
☆ Sort of... Cowardly : Only a teeny, tiny bit cowardly! Not buckets full, I mean what sort of explorer would I be if I was scared all the time?
★ Stubborn : I'm going to admit that I am, in fact, stubborn. That can be a good thing but it can also be a very very bad thing because even if I know I'm wrong I will stick by my previous statement or action.
