Can coins be swapped for those of greater value? c:
For instance; could one trade in three white coins for a bronze one?

Depends on what you paid with. If you paid a rare and had originally asked for three whites, but changed your mind, you can link me to the trade and request it be changed to a bronze. However, if you pay three uncommons, all you can get is three whites, otherwise, I'm sure there'd be someone who would take advantage and keep exchanging to pay less than everyone else.
