returning from 2018; rarities? values? video games?

Postby Spookattz » Sun Apr 13, 2025 3:09 pm

haven't played since 2018 (approx 7 years); what the heck is the rarity system now?

i have no idea what determines the value of pets these days. i also really don't understand C$, and i don't recall that being a feature of cs previously, but 7 years is a long time to forget things.

also if anyone is willing to offer up on any of the pets i have, feel free to lol--i dont hold my NFT's and NEFT's with any supreme value anymore (with exceptions); please dm me if you'd like to offer up on any and they're not marked for trade! :)

Hello! Welcome back to Chicken Smoothie.

In September of 2023, the rarity system was updated so that the distribution of pets and their respective rarities would be more clear. The value of pets is still mostly determined by users through the use of things like "Horror's List" or "Solloby's C$ Chart", although more casual users may use other qualifiers, like personal preference or rarity bars, to determine pet value.

Chicken Dollars are just Chicken Smoothie's "Premium Currency" since it needs to be purchased with real money in order to enter the economy, although it's become inflated and easier for the average user to access through trading. To make trading between pets of different years or rarities easier, things like "Solloby's C$ Chart" are often used to determine if a trade is fair by assigning certain C$ values to pets. A userscript made by OreozHere makes this method easier to use and also identifies item years and "valuable" pets.

Here are some links you might find useful:
"How Much Would You Value This Pet/Item in C$?" Thread
"How Much Would You Value This Pet?" Thread
Trading Advice Thread

Generally, I still find trading somewhat confusing even with access to these resources, but I hope that it is somewhat helpful to you : )
