An old hound walks up to you from the gloom of The Mage's house.
He looks you up and down before sitting back, "You are here to find a companion, yes?
I can see it in your eyes."
He snorts and gestures to the small group of hounds behind him.
"We call ourselves Mage Hounds, this place is our home, but perhaps
if you stick around long enough one of them will choose to follow you away from here."

"Is there any way to find a companion more quickly than to just stand around,"
you ask in a small voice.

"You could always strike up a conversation, tell them about yourself and bring gifts,
that's always best." The hound chuckles and begins to walk away, "I'm Locien, by the way."

All you have to do is post a story of you trying to impress one of the hounds. You do, however have to take into account the hound's personality and I'll post the hound's response when I get the time. Simple, right? 8D

Whatever items you buy will be put on the spread sheet which will [hopefully] be kept up to date.

Everyone starts off with on slot in their inventory and an old shoe, but can buy more bellow.
