What's a furrle? A furrle is a small, squirrel-like fox, a little smaller than your average house cat. They make great pets, and have beautiful fur. Here's an example of what a furrle would look like:

Types of Furrles

Common

Normal
This is the most common variation. They are very loving, and can be indoor pets provided that they are taken for walks. They are generally calm, as well as confident.

Flop-Eared
This variation has floppy ears and is more placid than the Normal Furrle. Even though it is the opposite of the Bobtail Furrle, it gets along well with them.

Bobtail
These are a variation with a stunted tail. They are somewhat more fiery than the Normal Furrle. They do not like to be confined, so they don't make as good indoor pets as the Normal Furrle.

Uncommon

Kitsune
This is an odd furrle doe to its three tails. It is very shy but also mischievous and likes to hide and then jump out to surprise people.

Winged
This furrle is characterizd by the small wings on its back and thin, feathered tail. It is unable to fly, but instead uses its wings to attract a mate in the wild. At home, however, they just look nice.

Rare

Capricorn
This is a rare furrle, and it is hard to catch because of its clever nature. It is a good swimmer and fighter because of its horns and tail. Once caught, they make loyal pets, as anyone who manages to catch them is definitely worthy.

Rules

If you don't want your furrle anymore, please don't just abandon it. I'm happy to put it back up for adoption.
Don't take any credit for furrles. I made them up. You can, however, tell people it's your fursona that you made, but I did the lineart.
NO WHINING WHATSOEVER!!!!!!!!!! No one enjoys whining.
Please don't spam the post. Stuff like, "Aw, I missed it," "I want one!" or, "Pie and ice cream!" are not acceptable.
Read stuff before posting annoying questions!

Getting Started

Furrles has a virtual currency the was originally going to be opals, but my friend thought they looked more like candy, so the currency is breathmints. Here is what they look like:

Anyway, you get 1000 mints when you join. Here's how to join:
1. Decide what you want your starter furrle to look like.
2. Fill out the form.
3. Post on this topic. I'll ignore a PM.
4. If you want, take a look at your inventory and furrle here:

5. Nothing else! Oh, and I'll PM you when your furrle's done.

More About Mints

Now, you're probably wondering, where the heck do I get more mints??? Here's how:
2 very common pets/1 common pet= 500 mints.
3 very common pets/2 common pets/1 uncommon pet= 1000 mints.
3 common pets/2 uncommon pets/1 wishlist pet= 5000 mints.
3 uncommon pets/2 wishlist pets= 10000 mints.
This may seem expensive, but a furrle usually only costs 100 to 500 mints depending on rarity, so even 1000 mints is a lot.
Remember, you start out with 1000 mints in the first place. You can spend your mints in the market.

The Market

Here's where you get stuff for your furrles! Most of the items are just for decoration, but you can also get potions, which can help you do things. So far there are only two, but there will be more someday!
To buy a decorative item, post this code:

If you don't equip to a furrle, it will show up in your inventory. If you do, it'll show up on your furrle! I think you know what'll happen to your money.
You can only buy items if you have a furrle already, with the exception of the Custom Potion. If you have an item in your inventory, you can equip it by filling out the above form, except where it says "Item", you put "My [item]."
To use a potion, go to the Customs page or the Breeding page. Potions can only be used once, so once you've used it, it will be removed from your inventory.

Again, don't PM me. I will send you the code and put the furrle in the Archive. If you're wondering why you get a custom for your starter furrle, look at the starter form closely. Custom furrles can be uncommon or rare as well as common types, whereas starter furrles can only be commons. As a Custom Potion costs 1000 mints, customs are expensive.

Breeding

Here's where you breed your furrles! There are several different things you can do on this page: You can put your furrles up for breeding, breed with someone else's furrle that they've put up for breeding, or breed two of your own furrles. To breed any two furrles, you need a Breeding Potion, found in the Market. To allow your furrle to be bred with someone else's, fill out the following form. Anyone can breed with your furrle.

You get one kit out of a breeding. Kits will arrive two days after the furrles have been bred. You may choose the gender and name of the kit, but you can't decide what it looks like. That's up to genetics.

Mutations

If you breed two different types of furrles, you have a 50% chance of getting a mutation, such as a winged furrle with bobtail.

Such mutations are considered uncommon in rarity.
