Dark trees loomed over head, the air seems thick with a kind of magic. You’re here to find a companion but first you must find the man who studies these strange creatures. He is a zoologist that discovered this dark land hidden deep in these forests. Stumbling along a path you soon come to a clearing there sits a man who is franticly writing in his notebook. He doesn’t take notice to your presence however the creature next to him dose, letting out a low growl it brings the man’s attention to the visitor and without taking his eyes off his work he greats you.
“So you’re here to find a companion? Very well they come into this clearing from time to time to drink from the fresh water stream. For some reason it tastes sweet so all the animals visit it eventually. You’re sure to find what you’re looking for if you stay long enough. Names Darko by the way.” He pauses leaving an awkward silence. “Oh and when they do come be sure to talk to them, some of them may even talk back.”

Rules
1. Available animals are completely free.
2. Don't use an animal that does not belong to you!
3. Don't copy, edit or give away your animal. In case you no longer wish to own it, PM me.
4. Don't sell your animal once you get it, you did not create it so don't try to profit off of my work.
5. Don't use/modify the images in any way unless you win the animal and have permission from me, if you win it, you're allowed to use it in signature boxes, stories, role plays etc.
6. Be polite and descriptive when applying for any animal.
7. Don't harass other members who get the animal you wanted.
8. Don't spam in this thread. To prevent spam and half-cooked applications you can only apply for one animal in a group. You must wait for a reply before posting another response.
9. There's a limit to animals you can have, that limit is 3 until further notice, this way everyone can get one Since this has not be overly popular pets you get as or now will not be counted. There will be no limit until or if this thread becomes popular. IE more than 3 people offering on one pet each time.
10. When asking for customs note that they are something that eats up my time, they will only be done in moderation. DO NOT offer me some lame offer of this month’s commons. My time is worth a lot to me, I expect you to understand and respect that. Therefore only offer what is fair.

Forest Clearing

In order to gain a companion you must write a story about your introduction to the animal. Talk to the animal and tell its reaction. What are your plans for the animal? What will you offer it by being a companion? The more detailed the story the better chance of you winning. I will not accept anything under 5 sentences, if you can’t think of anything then maybe this one isn’t right for you.
-Fill free to reuse old stories if you didn’t win the last creature.
-In some cases I will do an rp version of a creature’s story, in that case you will write a response to the creature then I will write back. I will specify when this is in play. Otherwise just write a story for the creature.
-A creature will never just jump into your lap! Don’t write a story that goes ageist its personality.
-Each creature will be different, please read the post next to it.
-You may use other animals you received from the forest or items to help you win over one of the creatures. But keep personalities in mind, if you try to use one of the early adoptions that I know wouldn’t like a new “friend” then it will go ageist you.

The leafs on the trees begin to change colors from green to orange, red and yellow. Everywhere the eye looks a wonderful dash of color enriched the forest. Fall is here and soon the snow will arrive, but before we usher in new creatures a few take their last drinks from the creek before curling up for the long winter.

Creature 15

Night sets over the clearing, from the forest causally steps a blind creature, to many it looks very familiar to one they saw in the past but rest assured this creature is not the same one. She was born blind and has adapted well to her environment, she is very tame for a forest creature and perks up her ears towards the humans in the clearing. "Hello, you may approach me." her voice was faint but ever powerful.

This creature may be later to arrive but he came to the party anyway. Boldly he steps from the woods holding his head high, In his day he was the cream of the crop. Now this haunted horse just like in his life uses it's impressive looks to get his way, be it by impression or fear.

Creature 17

Info: End Date Nov 22nd

Gracefully this creature bounds into the center of the clearing, flitting his ear and swishing his tale he towers over most creatures. A strange creature that seems to be a cross breed of a deer, giraffe and wolf he proudly holds head high. Bolder than most his colors and thick fur make him well adapted to cold weather climates. In fact he can berly stand how warm the forest is, he came for the river and its sweet water but will stay as the snow begins to decent into the forest valley. He is a creature that must be in cooler climates, his thick fur will quickly make him overheat.

For the design patterns, you can ask for stripes, swirls, spots or something more detailed. But do keep it within the normal boundaries, so no human hair styles or clothing.

Story: I slowly approach the gryphon and stand in awe looking at her beautiful green wings. She stops drinking water from the stream and looks at me. I talk to it, almost in a whisper. " My name is sakurarabbit. I was hoping you would like to be my companion. If you do, just know that I will take good care of you and treat you as one of a kind. I like to go to the forest a lot so you could come with me." she looks nervously at me so I continue "I think we would be able to get along well." She answered, "Perhaps we could..." and flicked her tail ever so gently. Describe its personality:
Tierra is fierce at times, but she is gentle to those whom she respects. Gryphons are noble, regal creatures that are quite finicky when it comes to reputation. Tierra will do a lot to gain power, as well.
