bel daemon (or simply just bel) are basically small floating creatures that inhabit the homes of unaware citizens around the world. They are basically harmless and do no damage to humans, they simply need the essence of a human's laughter to survive.

bel daemon usually take on a small and cute appearance, although they are not weak and dependent on their human 'hosts'. They have two rabbit like ears (to hear laughter) and a fat fluffy body like a hamster. Since they travel by floating (by using the essence from the laughter they collect) their hands and feet are extremely small. And since they thrive on laughter they have no need of teeth or noses; they only have a mouth so they can 'suck in' laughter. By the end of their tail is a small glowing orb that helps them find their way and locate places where there is much laughter. Most bel daemon carry around a bell, this bell is where they 'store' the laughter as their body soaks up the essence. As a bel daemon floats by, if you listen very carefully you can hear the small sounds of laughter coming from the bell.

bel daemon need laughter to live and so they are most commonly found among school playgrounds, parties, parks, etc. Occasionally a few will live permanently in homes of happy families as well~

bel daemon DO NOT breed for 3 reasons: 1. they have not developed the "parts" to have babies, 2. they do not have the need to have babies which is why they never developed these "parts" in the first place and 3. they do not have the need to breed because they are not born from each other, they are born from a newborn baby's first laughter~ As every baby's laughter is unique, so are the bel daemon. There is not a single one like the other P: The only exception would be bel daemon that are birthed from twin babies, an example would be the white and black winged ones up above. Even then they are slightly different :B

*****Following the creation of a new creature (called aza daemon) that preys on the tears of children as well as bel daemon, some bel daemon have adapted and developed a third eye. This third eye has the ability to stare down an aza daemon, thus shrinking it down to half the bel daemon's size, allowing the bel daemon to swallow the aza daemon whole~ Very few bel daemon have developed this rare mutation. Swallowing an aza daemon will halve its life span, and only by converting the aza daemon into essence will the bel daemon be able to continue to live. A mutated bel demon can no longer live on the laughter of children after swallowing an aza daemon and must spend the rest of its life swallowing them.

2. Do not take a bel daemon that does not belong to you

3. Spam/Whining/"Aw I missed it" posts will not be tolerated. This includes asking when a new batch will come out, it also includes being really melodramatic and just downright annoying ene...Repeated offenses result in blacklist + the confiscation of any bels you own.

4. Do not edit your form in any situation at any time for whatever reason. You will be ignored completely. If you screwed up your form just quickly repost a correct one and hope for the best

5.I DO NOT do customs/requests/blahblahblah. Only staff and close friends will get them from time to time. No, bribing and sucking up will not get you anything.

6. If you no longer want your bel daemon just PM me and I will handle it, DO NOT give it to a friend, family member, adoption agency, or a hobo! B[

7. Adoption Limit: you may only adopt ONE bel daemon ONCE EVERY THREE DAYS. No exceptions.

8. Respect all staff, no talking back, no causing fights, etc. This includes mini-modding! To me, mini-modding is being rude to those that I have assigned the mod position. It is THEIR job not yours, please respect that. Just have basic manners and you'll be fine.

9. DO NOT POST SUGGESTIONS UNLESS I ASK FOR THEM <A< I will consider any suggestion that was unasked for a spam/whine post ene

10. You are not allowed to remove the linkback on your bel to this thread. This is a sort of anti-art theft precaution, and also to easily let CS members know where bel daemon come from.

anyone on here is not allowed to adopt a bel daemon, gets their current bel daemon removed and cannot post on the thread. You also cannot PM any of us about the thread. It's unlikely you'll ever come off. you may have never even posted here before, but I'm aware of your previous actions on other threads/situations and have chosen to ban you. there are many reasons why you could be here also. :B
