aza daemon (or just aza) are basically small nimble creatures that wonders around every nook and cranny, hiding away from the humans. They are harmless to humans, but simply need the essence of human's nightmares and sadness to survive.
aza daemon usually take on a small and cute appearance, although they are not weak and dependent on anything. They have regular canine like body and a long plush tail. Since they are very dependent on their nimbleness, they have lean legs and acute senses. Even if they only need the essence of sadness to survive, they have very small yet sharp and amazing sense of smell. Probably to hunt down their "play-things", the bel daemon. Most of the aza daemon carry around an azalea, where they gather up the essence. When the azalea is thriving and fully bloomed, this indicates that the aza daemon is healthy and normal. At night, the azalea flower glows brighter than it does in the morning, probably due to the amount of nightmares it collects from their host.
aza daemon needs sadness and nightmares to live, so they aren't found in one specific area. They move around from places to places, though they do like places like the hopital, schools, graveyards ( the times where humans visit their passed ones, like 4th of july), "troubled" family's homes.
aza daemons aren't an evil creature though, once they "collect" their essence, the sadness or the nightmares that the human host had will be rid of. You can almost see that while aza daemon can harm the bel daemon, in its own way, it help the little creatures out in a way that is a win win situation for both creatures.
