Lynxol {plural Lynxol} are a unique creature. They appear to be a lynx crossed with an antelope, thus the antlers. They have two tails, and thick fluffy fur.
Most Lynxol weigh around 15-20 lbs, males leaning toward the heavier side. Height-wise, at the shoulder they are around two and a half to three feet tall. {So they are basically around the size of a medium size dog.} Lynxol are carnivores, very rarely eating any vegetation. They prey on mice, rabbits, and the occasional fawn. They hunt by feeling vibrations in the earth. Lynxol keep their faces very close to the ground when hunting letting the whiskers sense the vibrations, also allowing their nose to track down scents. Lifespans are usually up to thirty human years.

Lynxol live in colder climates, where their fur keeps them at a comfortable temperature. They have extremely sensitive hearing which is their dominant sense. These felines are actually blind. One extremely helpful trait to them is their long whiskers. Because of their blindness, their whiskers help them feel around tight spaces. These species mate for life, staying together for a long time. Each pair only breeds once, keeping their kits until they are one year old. The father teaches them hunting skills, where prey is located, the mother tending to teach them basic things like territory, which herbs, berries, or leaves to eat when starving. After the kits are weaned, the two mates live with each other, relaxing and living an easy life. Unlike almost every other animal species, the grown up kits somehow remember their parents, coming to visit when around the territory or when lost. It's not uncommon for a family to stay together, with the eldest male and female ruling as Leaders. Males in this sort of pride system wander off when around one year, leaving to find a mate of his own.
Personality-wise, almost every Lynxol as the base of the same personality as the next. The normal temperament for a Lynxol is caring, cautious, quiet, sneaky, and territorial only to non-kin. There's always those few that are different though, keep that in mind when choosing your new companion.

Lynxol generally don't help out humans, however, they're a bit desired by thieves. Because of their amazing hearing and sense of vibrations, they're perfect for your average thief. Most Lynxol sense that thieves are not good humans to be with, so it's extremely hard for them to try and find a Lynxol. A few of these felines wind up caught in traps or anything of that sort to catch them. They sense emotions, so any human or thing with ill-will is the type of person they would try their best to avoid, which goes to show what kind of sweet animals they are.
Szurac. They're like catfish, shark, and canine mixed together. They live exclusively in the Atlantic Ocean, surviving in the cold temperatures. They have keen eyes with great vision. Hearing isn't their best sense, however they can still make out sounds. Like sharks, they can both smell blood and sense electrical fields. They lack gills, so can't stay under water for more than one hour at most. They have mostly natural colored skin that blends in with the water. {They swim on the surface, and can't risk being attacked by Great Whites who lurk below.} Even though they have shark cousins, it means nothing at all.
Szurac get around the two to three feet at the shoulder. Weight varies depending on the current prey and season. Szurac, even though being related to a canine species, don't have fur. They have thick skin like sharks {called dermal denticles} which feels like sand-paper and is very tough to the touch. Their whiskers help them feel around, and if provoked, they let out a sting. Nothing fatal like jellyfish, but enough to give the message, "back off" to their attacker.
Szurac eat almost everything aquatic except their own kind. Jellyfish, young stingrays, seal pups {occasionally} and a lot of fish. Most Szurac become injured after jellyfish or stingrays, having the barbs and tentacles hurt them. It's unknown how these aquatic hybrids kill them, spiking curiosity for scientists. Their tails propel them through the water from side to side like a shark does.
Szurac do not live long if contained to a glass room in an aquarium. If a human decides to take one home, they better live near a lake or pond. Swimming pools, or anything with chemical hurt the skin, causing burning and redness. Frozen fish are acceptable, however, Szurac hate being handfed. They seem to only accept food if it's thrown in the water but live fish are it's favorite.
These are solitary creatures in the wild, only coming to meet other Szurac in mating season, or when the other raises her pups.
Perfect for fishermen if tamed and trained, Szurac can stealthily dive down and kill fish for bait or even frighten fish toward fishing nets {A trick based off of farmer's herding dogs.} One of the main issues these creatures encounter is man itself. They get caught in fishnets, pulled to ships with tuna or any other fish. Most fishermen carefully let them go, afraid the annoyed Szurac may sting or bite them. Fishhooks are another huge problem, but experienced Szurac know that a free meal is suspicious.
