Almost 150 years ago, an explosion followed in the outer earth atmosphere.
The concequences for life on earth were, except for some damage due to panics, very limited.
Not an hour after the explosion, some dust like fragments started to rain from the sky, 10-12 little orbs were among this.
This were the very first Carpet-sprite eggs!
Not long after they had landed on our planet, the little critters hatched. The first 3 died because they were unable to change their bodies to the climate they had landed on.
The remaining two however, survived.
Starting off by living on an isolated island, the two mated, making the sprites we know as, the first generation.
It didn't take long however for one of these sprites, to find its way into modern civilisation, by beeing blown away in a storm.
Scientist found the little critter, surprised that it could understand their language and even more surprised at its abilitys.
The carpet-sprites, as they were called, were able to eat and digest things that were ten times their size in height, width and length.
With an own size of 10-12 cm as a male and 7-9 as a female, the carpet sprites are fairly compact critters.
It didn't take humanity long to notice the island they lived on and it almost came to exstinction of the outer space critters.
However, the little sprite that had spend time in the scientists laboratorys, had started adapting to their language and as it saw the slaughtering of his parents, brothers, nieces.
His Family, he spoke to the humans.
This Sprite was Attila, even today this sprite is the one with the heighest status ammong the carpet sprites!
After this incident, the humans started to accept the critters, even to love them.
It is not uncommon, for sprites to take a liking to a human and to spend their lives with them.
The Egg of a sprite gives of a scent that makes pregnant, stilling or laying females accept them as their own chiildren!
It is just now, that the scientists found out, that the appearance and behavior of a sprite can varry, depending on the surrounding it hatches into.
If a carpet-sprite hatches in a nest of a spider, it will have 4 eyes and be able to make webs!
Not manny variations have been tested yet however.

they change Gender when choosing a partner, the smaller one will usually become female
SIZE: Males: 10-12 cm, Females: 7-9 cm
WEIGHT: 50-80gr.
AGE-SPANN: Wild: up to 50 years, domestic: up to 150
however they usually die when their owner does due to a broken heart.
It is verry unussual for a sprite to accept another human.
MATING BEHAVIOR: Mates for life
NUTRITION: Eats everything
no really, everything, from your toaster, to fruit, meat, even clothing.
TRAINABLE?: Better at young age
PREFFERES LIVING IN: Warm cozy places .Eggs
Small, orbs, about 50mm small! are easily blown away by the wind or lost!

Carpet-sprite NORMAL
A small creature which will be its owner best companion, likes to sleep in the same bed and is easily trained! Not verry strong willed but can be stubborn at times! Be carefull of your Carpet-sprite around electronic devices, it believes it to be a delicatesse! Available through All adoption methods.
Carpet-sprite SPIDER
The Carpet-sprite of the spider family is one of the gentle sort. It is an emotional companion despite its looks
and loves to hide in your underwear drawer, your shoes or if your a woman, loves to snuggle in your bra! It
is the hardest to give a spider type carpet-sprite to a new owner, as it becomes verry attached to its human.
Despite its size it would do everything to keep its owner safe.

Carpet-sprite CAT
Born in a litter of kittens, taken in by a cat, this sprite probably is the most mischievious of all carpet sprites. Loving to pull little pranks on its humans, like hiding the shoes or gnawing their toes when they want to pull their shoes on after hiding in them. However, next to their mischievious nature, they also have calm sides, on which they love to cuddle in the base of your neck, beneath your ear and when your sleeping, in the hollow of your knee. Carpet-sprite MOTH
The Carpet-sprite moth is a shy little fellow, that loves to sleep in dark corners or closets. It is rather
introverted and prefers to keep to itself, having a hard time binding with a human, however, when
this happens, they can be very possesive and chase other sprites and even humans away by spitting
and hissing. It can fly very short distances and makes small buzzing noises when content.

Carpet-sprite ANGLERFISH
Gentle, caring and lovable even though it looks verry rough. The Anglerfish Sprite is a verry calm and colected creature, that just loves to watch its human and cling at its legs when it proceeds walking. It is easily adapted to a human but has a hard time getting rid of the emotional bond with it. It never bites or attacks and even though it has a strong protection feeling of its human it is too scared to actually protect it actively. However, it may use its teeth to gently nibble the hair at the base of your neck as a sign of affection.

Carpet-sprite ROBOTIC
Smaller then an average Carpet-Sprite, the robotic one is the proof that humans meddle with everything
in Nature. It is a perfect copy of a carpet sprite, programmed to listen to the orders of its master and
even shoot bullets through a hidden sort of mashine gun in its body when needed or ordered.
