✦ omni inhabit a world that is shattered into multiple large chunks, suspended in the sky by magic. currently (meaning i'm still working on other locations) omni reside in kalbi, a smog-filled, apocalyptic wasteland of an island-chunk that was once inhabited by humans. while the majority of the place isn't all that inhabitable anymore thanks to them, and aside from the more ichor-inclined who aren't all that bothered, the omni are managing just fine on the safer areas of the island.

✦ but omni aren't the only creature that inhabit this world.



✦ pips are small, concentrated balls of elemental magic that can serve as companions for omni. not all elements can be found readily in kalbi, but sometimes folks can get lucky and find particularly strong deposits of magic that have the potential to spawn these little guys in elements not otherwise found in the area.

✦ the world where the omni reside is full of elemental magic. the omni themselves channel this magic through an orb in their chest, with the color reflecting what element each omni holds...

white/air ✦ red/lava ✦ orange/fire ✦ yellow/lightning ✦ green/grass
blue/water ✦ pale blue/ice ✦ purple/ichor ✦ pink/floral ✦ brown/ground
black/dark ✦ rainbow/light ✦ shattered/magicless

✦ the majority of the elements can all be found just as easily as any other, but black and rainbow orbs are the rarest of the bunch and are hardly ever seen. as for shattered orbs, technically any omni become magicless if something happens to their orbs, but events capable of causing such trauma are rare.

✦ on rare occasions, though still a tad more common than black or rainbow, omni can have a dual-colored orb...

floral/ice ✦ grass/lightning ✦ water/ichor
(just some examples!)

✦ omni with dual colored orbs hold the power of two elements at once, and can use their elemental abilities just the same as an omni with a single element. most elements can co-exist peacefully, though there are a couple of unstable combinations.

✦ on very rare occasions (events), off-shaped orbs can be found, but otherwise they are all the normal oval.

✦ now, as for how omni put all of this magic to use...

✦ omni channel their magic through their mouths and/or their hands, depending on the element. elements can provide advantages in certain, element-based rummaging areas, and having them in your group can up your chances of success!

✦ chicken smoothie's rules apply to all omni threads, as well as the discord.

✦ accounts must be active on chicken smoothie for a minimum of 2 months to participate on omnis.

✦ your co-op post (or linked storage if you'd prefer) must be kept up to date. an out of date co-op/storage will disqualify you from raffles, giveaways, and events.

✦ do not trace, copy, or steal any omni that do not belong to you. relatedly, do not claim the base or design as your own work.

✦ you may post your omni anywhere, so long as you link back to either this thread or the omni toyhouse.

✦ do not guilt trip if you don't win something. this includes posting things like "didn't win... congrats though" and things of that nature. be a good sport!

✦ please do not try to obtain omnis for the sake of foddering them. there are artists behind these adopts, making them for free in their own time. entering giveaways for the sake of trade fodder is disrespectful. we ask that you only enter for omni you genuinely like - this applies for both forum litters and discord giveaways.

✦ do not message people soliciting omni trades if they have not advertised anywhere.

✦ omni artists have the right to reroll giveaways if they are won by someone they have blocked, or who has them blocked. do not confront the artists or call them out publically if you are rerolled.

strikes are currently on a case by case basis, discussed with the mod team. we work on a 3 strike system unless the offense is particularly bad, in which case it could potentially count as multiple strikes, or in extreme cases, a straight ban.

our ban list is not public, but a list of ids can be supplied on request for trading purposes. you may not ask why any users are banned.

banned users may keep any omni they owned at the time of being banned, but they may not acquire any others. they may not participate in any omni activities (raffles, giveaways, rummaging) or join the discord. they may give away any omni they own or trade them away for other umas if they wish.

✦ how do i get an omni?
we host litter raffles here on the thread, and host a fair amount of more spontaneous giveaways in our discord server!

✦ i have an omni, now what?
though it is currently closed for our rework, our main activity is rummaging! when opened, it is a weekly/bi-weekly exploring and gathering game with the potential to find items, pips, and occasionally other omnis! in the meantime, i'd like to encourage character building with your omni, as rummaging will ask for just a tad of writing (a couple of sentences, nothing major) to keep things interesting!

✦ you must have an up to date co-op/storage to participate in any raffles.

✦ litters will always be raffles, never fcfs.

✦ you may enter for as many omni per litter as you'd like, but you can only win one.

✦ winners for the litters are rolled per omni, not per user, meaning specifying which omni you'd prefer will not be considered.

✦ with that in mind, please only enter for omni you like and believe you will connect with!

✦ forms without the correct litter tag, or with incorrect/missing hex codes, will be considered invalid.

✦ each omni's id is listed right below them.
