Trinklets are small, cat-like creatures that collect items and store them on their tail. They are mostly fur-covered with some hairless spots on their faces, bellies, ears, and tail. Most are around the size of a mouse and prefer to live in places they can easily hide, like forests. They can be domesticated but can become quite the nuisance if not cared for correctly.
They collect small items and guard them fiercely, usually never taking something off their tail unless it is to clean it.

Anatomy of a trinklet:

Trinklets are commonly fluffy or fuzzy, but always lack it on their tails, bellies, faces, and the inside of their ears. This chart shows the MINIMUM amount of skin showing one can have (light purple), but most have larger patches missing. Some are even completely furless! Rarer trinklets have their fur replaced with feathers, or scales in place of their usually bare spots. Other than their hairlessness, they come with all types of unique traits like wings, claws, extra tails, horns, etc.
While most natural traits can be found on a trinklet, it is rare that they are mutated or posses magic.
✶ Mutations display as unnatural materials being a part of the body of the trinklet, like: glass skin, metallic fur, rubber skin, etc.
✶ Magic displays as the trinklet being able to do unnatural things, like change the color or pattern of their body, displaying/summoning halos or elements, or even shapeshifting.

✶ Note: This is supposed to be more of a small and fun project. Please have fun participating and collecting these guys, as they're just little creatures I have fun making.

✶ This is a closed species, so if you do make your own it cannot be accounted for or claimed as an official trinklet.
✶ Do not edit/draw over/change the original images/gifs of your trinklets without permission
✶ Strikes/bans: I'm not planning on having to do any of this but in extreme cases I will at my own discretion

✶ Most trinklets will be raffle or FCFS. Some will be purchasable with pets, C$, or species currency (crumbs) at artist discretion.
✶ Crumbs can only currently be earned by making art of your own/others' trinklets. You can submit art you have made for crumbs on this thread.
✶ If you would like to add trinkets from your trinklet's tail, you must buy the item that corresponds to the planned trinket's material in the shop.
✶ If you would like to remove trinkets from your trinklet's tail, you must obtain a removal stone.
✶ NOTICE ABOUT ADDING/REMOVING ITEMS: Adding/removing trinkets requires changes to the art of the trinklet itself. When using an item, new masterlist art must be provided. This can either 1: be made on the official base/offbase by the user, 2: be a new image done by the original artist, or 3: be an edited version of the original art with permission from the original artist. Artist permissions will be stated on the staff page.

✶ Create a trinklet using the provided base above, OR create your own unique lines+design. All designs must be within the anatomy of a trinklet. Supplementary but not required: You can link back to/show other designs you've made in general as well so I get a better idea about you as an artist
✶ Please try to fit all art into a 100 x 100p canvas. It is alright if it needs to be slightly bigger, but no more than 200 x 200p.
✶ You may use any regular, magical, or mutation traits on your submission. Please choose from any materials to add trinkets to the trinklet's tail. Information about these traits are at the top of the post.
✶ Message me (GODEATER) with your submission and any extra comments or questions. I will get back to you if you are accepted or not when I can.

You are not required to know how to animate for this position. While I may be personally animating some adopts, it will never be a requirement. If you do know or want to try, feel free to animate your piece(s)! I will be judging solely based on the designs submitted.
