What are Calla Shrimp?

Calla Shrimp, affectionally called "Crimp", are friendly bee-sized critters that live in tropical-based, well-tended to gardens. They are no threat to the flora, purely using them as sources of nutrients and a place to reside; whether it be within the large petals of lavish flowers or nestled in the spiraling roots of vegetable plants. However, miss a few days worth of watering or tending to your garden, and you may notice you have an angry army of Calla Shrimp gnawing on your garden in an act of "violence." These little creatures are usually bright and colorful, though those that are brown and dull are typically found in withering, decaying gardens...

【 GENERAL RULES 】

【 G1 】 All general CS rules apply. These rules will be enforced by Calla Shrimp staff. Any site rules broken will be addressed accordingly and sent to the appropriate CS staff. Please make sure to read over the CS rules regarding Discord before joining ours! Our Discord may also have rules specific to it once you join.

【 G2 】 Be respectful and courteous to fellow community members & to the Calla Shrimp staff. We do not tolerate any rudeness or harassment towards ANY Calla Shrimp member. Everyone is welcome here. Which means: discriminatory behavior is absolutely NOT welcome here, whether in the Discord or on our threads. If it is found a user is acting this way towards another community member, a permanent ban from Calla Shrimp will be issued immediately and a report will be made to CS staff.

【 G3 】 Please do NOT mini-mod. While we appreciate the support, there can be situations where the wrong answer is given by a community member when a situation should be addressed by the staff. If you are eager to assist, keep an eye out for moderator applications! We will announce them opening both on the main thread and in our Discord server.

【 SPECIES RULES 】

【 S1 】 The official Calla Shrimp lines may not be edited or used by users that are NOT on the staff team. You may not attempt to edit, color in, trace, remove the Calla Shrimp signature, or alter official lines in any way without explicit permission by the owners (Koikee or scyllạ). Users may only scale images (i.e: making the image bigger or smaller). Additionally, you may not claim the Calla Shrimp lines or any designs as yours unless you made it.

【 S2 】 Refrain from guilting other users for receiving or winning Calla Shrimp, whether it is through raffles, trades, or customs. Making comments such as, "ugh i didn't win again" or ”man, i missed another giveaway". Refrain from doing so even if you include tone indicators such as “/j” or “/lh”, as it can still be off-putting to other users. Guilt-tripping can be discouraging to others within our server and/or become repetitive. Additionally, please avoid from begging Staff or other users for Calla Shrimp and/or customs. Staff will address any of this behavior as necessary with the proper repercussions.

【 S3 】 Do not join Calla Shrimp for the sake of foddering for other species. Do not join giveaways to fodder designs to trade for others. This can be very discouraging to the artists that spend time making adopts for the community. If you are found to be foddering designs, a trading ban will be placed on your account. Attempting to trade off designs while under a trade ban may risk your account from being banned completely.

【 BANS (TEMPORARY OR PERMANENT) 】

Users that are banned from Calla Shrimp may risk losing their Calla Shrimp depending on the severity of why you were banned. Calla Shrimp that have been revoked from banned users will no longer be able to use them in any way, such as continuing to use them as your own character, making art of them, attempting to trade them off, and so on.

Calla Shrimp that have been revoked will either be raffled off to Staff or the community, or given out as freebies to non-owners and will not be returned to you in the event you, the user, are able to appeal your ban.

Additionally, banned users may not interact with the community, whether it's temporary or permanent. For users that have been temporarily banned, this rule will be lifted once your ban is up. The length of the temporary ban will vary based on the severity of the situation and what the moderation team & owners decide upon. Users that have been temporarily banned that fail to comply with this rule may run you the risk of being permanently banned.

【 CHANGELOG 】

Calla Shrimp are currently looking for ARTISTS!
Users that are looking to submit an application can fill out the Google Form below!

Important things to note:

- You are required to have Discord to be able to communicate with myself, scyllạ, and any other staff that may join the team. Your email will NOT be shared with us.

ARTISTS:
At this time, we do not have a base for applications to apply with. However, it is recommended to at least offer the following:

- Submitting four (4) or more of your designs from other UMAs/other projects as examples.
- We ask that do not share/use repeating designs (the same design repeated with no/minimal changes for multiple adopts); we care about quality, not quantity.

MODERATORS:
As a moderator, you should expect the following:

- You will help keep the server free from any form of drama or content that doesn't belong.
- You will help users with questions you know the answer to — or forward them to other staff.
- You will help verify users and ensure their CS profile and introduction follows protocol.
