What are Whisples?

Whisples are very small winged creatures that fit in the palm of your hand, with tiny pointed snouts and (usually feathery) antennae. There exist several varieties within the same species, each having different kinds of ears and tails that resemble those of other animals.

In the wild, they live in large groups (flitters), resting in the branches of trees during the day and night. They are crepuscular, most active at dawn and dusk, and are drawn to the scent of food from human festivals, which locals hold with some regularity in order to dissuade them from descending upon orchards.

Their diet is primarily made up of fresh limes, though they have developed quite the taste for a vast array of lime flavored human delicacies, particularly sweets. As such, it is not uncommon for Whisples to bond to specific individuals who are able to provide them with their preferred foods.

• All official Chicken Smoothie rules apply to your interactions with this UMA.
• Do not steal or otherwise post any Whisples that do not belong to you without express permission of the owner.
• You may use your Whisple anywhere you choose, as long as it is linked back to this thread.
• Most Whisples may only be traded for other Whisples, Whisple currency, art, and other UMAs. The exception to this is purchased customs and Whisples resulting from breeding which may be traded for C$ or CS pets equal to the value of the Lime Candies originally payed for them.
• Please do not trace or edit official Whisple art, with the exception of: Altering animated Whisples to be static images, applying free items to any Whisple you own or owned by someone who has asked you to do so, and cropping or adding Whisples to a larger image with credit.

Rules may be altered or added to as I see fit.

• Whisples will never be first come, first served.
• Your form may be edited with explanation before the raffle ends.
• Your account should be at least two months old to enter a raffle, and you should have an up to date co-op archive.
• You may specify which Whisples you are entering for by ID, or you may state "All", but you can only win up to one Whisple.
• Please do not enter with the sole intention of using Whisples as trade fodder, this is unfair to other participants.

Each person who creates a Whisple Co-Op Archive may gain one Starting Whisple as a companion! There are three types of Usual Whisple to choose from (Fox, Bunny, or Opossum), that are customizable with a variety of premade markings that can be applied in any combination and color! Starting Whisples may not be traded, but can otherwise participate in all Whisple features the same as any other Whisple.

Whisples here are free for anyone to use! They cannot be traded, bred, or have items applied to them at the shop, however you are welcome to apply free items to them yourself or with the help of someone else. They can also be named and added to your archive if you wish.

Some Whisples are rarer than others- they can be Usual, Unusual, or Extraordinary. This is a breakdown on what qualifies any given Whisple as one of those three:

Usual
The most common kind of Whisple, and the main type found in Flitter Raffles. These Whisples will always have matching animal traits, and no line edits with the exception of those that represent disabilities. At the moment, foxes, bunnies, and opossums are the only Usual Whisple lines, but in the future more animals will be added!

Unusual
This rarity includes Whisples with mixed animal traits that are exclusive to breeding and customs, as well as Whisples with minor to moderate line edits or add-ons. Such as different shapes of butterfly or moth wings, other kinds of antennae, extra appendages, non-removable simple accessories etc.

Extraordinary
Extraordinary Whisples are just that- extraordinary! They often break the mold of what a Whisple typically looks like, with multiple moderate to heavy line edits or add-ons. They can have wings other than butterfly or moth, mermaid tails, pose changes, and much more!
