What is a SlumberDrake?
SlumberDrakes are sleepy dragon-like beasts that psychically connect to others of their
species. They live in a world known as The Realm of the Slumbering. A mystic land that
only wizards (that’s you!) can access through magic. Often times, a young wizard’s
skill is tested by visiting this land. If they are brave enough to bond with a Drake, they pass the
test! The eye on a Drake’s head allows them to observe the world around them without
having to wake from their deep slumber. Some may even open their eyes, though be careful not
to maintain eye contact. Who knows what might happen. However, they form strong bonds to
wizards who might seek out their magic! So, do you have what it takes to tame a SlumberDrake?

Default vs Mystical Drakes
A Default Drake is one without any kind of line edits. A Mystical Drake
has line edits like Nova! Both are able to be obtained by litterdrops, customs,
breeding, or questing. They are both able to pass on their traits to their offspring.

- Rules -

You can use your SlumberDrake anywhere, just
as long as it links back to the main thread.

Don’t claim a SlumberDrake you don’t own.

Don’t claim the base as your own.

Don’t edit or trace the base.
This includes your own SlumberDrake.

Don’t guilt trip to get a SlumberDrake or if
you didn’t get the SlumberDrake you wanted.

You must have post in the co-op archive
if you win a SlumberDrake in a raffle, from the
shelter, get a custom/offspring, or if it’s traded/gifted to you.

Your account must be at least 2 months old
to participate in SlumberDrakes. This is to
prevent entering raffles multiple times,
questing more then once a day, and ordering
multiple customs at once.

- FAQ -

Are Drakes free and how do I get one?
Most SlumberDrakes are free other then getting one through customs and
breeding. Currently you can get a free Drake through litterdrops and questing.
If you’d like to order a custom Drake or breed your Drake, you can do so here!
Make sure to have a post to the co-op archive if you get a SlumberDrake in anyway.

Are they fcfs?
Nope! Litterdrops, questing, customs, and breedings are the only way to get a SlumberDrake. The shelter is an exception to this rule.

Can I give my Drake back, I don’t want it anymore.
As mentioned above, the shelter exists! You may return any Drakes you no longer want or need. Just be sure to fill out the proper form.

Are there MYOs?
No. There’s no plans to make them either.

Can I make a Drake without joining the forums?
No, SlumberDrakes are a closed species. You can only get one by participating in the species.

I would like to trade my items/Drake, how do I do that?
You can trade any of your items/SlumberDrake in the discussion forum! Please read the rules over there so you know how to properly trade with others.

I would like to apply an item to my Drake, how do I do that?
As mentioned above, you can go to the discussion page! The form for that is there.

I would like to add color a wearable item, how do I do that?
This form is also on the discussion page! Remember you must have a dye in order to color any item!

Can I draw my Drake?
Totally! You can draw your SlumberDrake or anyone else’s with their permission! I would love to see the beautiful art everyone makes!

I want to add my Drake to ToyHouse, who do I credit?
You can credit the artist who drew/designed your SlumberDrake. Their links are provided on the staff/application part of this thread.

Can I use my Drake as an OC?
Totally! Highly encouraged, in fact it works well with the lore of the SlumberDrakes! Just make sure you have won that Drake and can use it! They don’t have to follow the lore of SlumberDrakes if you don’t want either.

Can I make a wizard OC based in the world of SlumberDrakes?
Of course! A wizard is just you as a SlumberDrake owner! Think of it as a self insert! Of course they don’t have to be a self insert if you don’t like. You don’t have to even create a wizard OC if you don’t want. A wizard is just meant to be the idea of an owner of the SlumberDrakes in the Realm of the Slumbering!

Can I edit my forms?
No, you may not edit your forms. Your form will be invalid and ignored if done so. All forms must be quoted if you have made a mistake.

Do I need a male and female Drake to breed?
Nope, there’s no required gender for SlumberDrakes to breed.

I’ve been blacklisted, can I keep my Drake?
Yes, but they are no longer considered a legit SlumberDrake. They will have their ID removed on the archive.

Artist
Artists are required to make one litter (consisting of 2-5 Drakes) at least every two weeks. You will be able to do customs and breedings if you want too! You must be comfortable working with pixels. You’ll go through a guest process for a month in which you’ll only provide 2 litters. If you’d like to continue working with the species, you will become a main artist. You will also get to make your own custom every two months once you become a main artist.

Base
Use this base to show off your examples. Do not
remove the “fake”, this will invalidate your form.
You may move it if you feel the need. Feel free to break lines!
You can make up to as many examples as you feel comfortable making.
Do not claim this base as your own or use it to create your own
SlumberDrake or any OCs. If caught doing this you will be blacklisted.

Pairs
You will breed the following 4 pairs, using the
normal orb and crystal orb, to create 2 offspring.
You must provide both of the breeding types, equaling
to 4 offspring in total. Do not claim these 4 Drake as your

˗ˏˋ Strikes/Blacklists ´ˎ˗

Users who have been permanently banned will keep all SlumberDrakes they own but these Drakes will no longer be considered “official” and they will lose their ID (number will be replaced with a “ID removed” in the archive). These Drakes will not be able to breed, quest or interact with SlumberDrakes in general.

Strikes will be given if a user breaks the rules, if you accidentally make a mistake with any math with the shop or something then it’s no worries, you won't receive a strike. Lying in order to get extra items or extra SlumberDrakes will get you a strike though.

Bullying or harassment will earn a blacklist if anyone is caught doing so.

Users are on a 3 strike basis. The first strike will dissolve after three months if the user doesn't break any more rules during this period, the second strike will dissolve after 6 months if they get another strike they will be blacklisted.
