"What exactly are Persephelines?' Persephelines are cat/plant hybrids, born from the forest itself. They first appeared as seeds, like any other. But with the right amount of care, plenty of sunshine, and a fair dose of water, these seeds transform into kittens. As kits, Persephelines learn how to harvest, venturing out into the groves with their teachers. Once they are ready to garden themselves, they develop into fully-grown Persephelines!"

"Thousands of years ago, ancient Persephlines stumbled upon the Valley and declared it their home because of its unique temporal anomalies. Here, winter can transform into summer and autumn can burst into spring just by travelling to the four distinct groves of the Valley. Due to the presence of all seasons, the ancestors dedicated their livelihood to nature and to the harvest. They cared for the environment around them and nature paid them in kind - with bounties of seasonal goods. It wasn't long after this that the ancestors decided to name the four seasonal groves. Thus, Everberry Meadow, Cottonpuff Orchard, Maple Summit, and the Winter Woods were born."

Adopting

1. Only five Persephelines are allowed per user at a time unless a space expansion has been purchased from The Market.
2. Litters are raffle-based, so the winners are chosen with a number generator; there is no favoritism - it's all random!
3. Raffle events for rarer Persephelines will be held every other month or so. The winners will also be chosen through a raffle.

Fertility Charm:
It is not clear as to how the stone amulet works, but it allows Persephelines to breed with one another! The charm is a one-time-use, however, as the opulescent color dims after use.
Please note, if you choose to breed two holiday/special event Persephelines that have unlisted flower or tail traits, the offspring will not inherit those limited edition traits.

"Do you or a friend have two Persephelines that get along spendidly? If so, you can place them in the Nursery to get some newborn Persepheline seeds! In time, they will grow into kittens and be available for adoption. The Valley only has so many nests, so only two pairs of Persephelines can be bred at one time. It's first come, first serve!"

Breeding Information
- In order to breed two Persephelines you will first need a Fertility Charm which can be purchased from The Market or discovered while Harvesting. Breeding will produce 3 kittens
- If you have two Persepehlines, you may breed them; of the 3 kittens born from the pairing you will be able to claim one. The remaining kittens will be placed up for adoption in the Nursery.
- If you and a friend have Persephelines that you would like to breed, only one of you will need a Fertility Charm. However, only the owner who supplied the Fertility Charm gets to claim a kitten, unless the other owner has a Blossoming Brew which can be purchased from The Market. Then, the second owner gets to claim a kitten after the first.
- Genetics will play a considerable role in the appearance and genes of the kittens. The Admin works a job in genetics, so expect some science, haha! Make sure you double-check parent's traits before entering Persephelines into the Nursery for breeding. Any exclusive traits from raffle events will not be passed down.
- To guarantee 4 kittens in your litter, you may use Nature's Blessing which can be purchased in The Market. To guarantee 5 kittens in you litter, you may use Persephone's Kiss which can also be purchased in The Market. If breeding with another user's Persepheline, only one person needs Nature's Blessing or Persephone's Kiss.
- There will only be two dens open at a time and they may be closed periodically depending on admin's current workload. The dens are first come first serve, both for claiming Nests and Nursery Kittens.
- Breeding can take 2-6 weeks before kittens will be born. You will be contacted through Private Message when the kittens are available so that you can claim one, then the remaining kittens will be placed for adoption in the Nursery.
- 2nd generation Persephelines can be bred, but 3rd generation cannot.

You do not need to have a Persepheline to go Harvesting.

Can we only breed Persephelines when they're an adult? Or at any age?

Persephelines can only be bred when they are an adult! If you don't have two adult Persephelines, but you do have one, you always have the option of contacting another player to see if they'd be interested in breeding! Just remember, whoever 'pays' for the breeding with the Fertility Charm is going to have the option to pick which Seed they wish to keep. The other person's Perseph is sort of an artistic formality to contribute genes/colors to the Seeds!

If I have more than one Persepheline, can my other Persephs go out Harvesting once a day too?

Yes! Each individual Perseph is allowed to go Harvesting once a day. So, the more Persephelines you have, the more ingredients/loot you're going to be able to bring back to your bank!
