• Members are required to keep an up-to-date post in the co-op archive to be able to adopt Pipteryx.
  Pipteryx may be posted elsewhere, such as toyhouse, but should be credited and linked back to this shop.
  
  
• When adopting, a number is required in the form to specify which Pipteryx is being adopted.
  Forms with phrases such as "whatever is left" or "the last open one" will be skipped over.
  
  
• All batches will include a unique codeword and color. Forms with the wrong codeword or color will be skipped over.
  
  
• Editing adoption forms is not allowed. If changes are needed, quote your original form and make edits on a new post.
  Any edited adoption form posts not following this rule will be skipped over.
  
  
• Swapping adopts during a batch opening is allowed once per batch and only if the second Pipteryx has not been claimed.
  This means if you adopted #1 but swapped to #2 before anyone claimed it, you would receive #2 from the batch.
  However, if someone else claimed #2 before you tried to swap, then you would receive #1 from the batch.
  
  
• Before you add a new Pipteryx to your co-op post, wait until the code post is up so you know for sure you are the owner.

Pipteryx has a 3 strikes policy. Members get 3 chances before being banned.
Strikes earned by rule breakers will have a time period. After a certain date, a strike will be removed.
However, if a member reaches 3 strikes before any of them are removed, they will be banned.
If a member is banned for getting 3 strikes, they will be banned for a minimum of 3 months.
Stealing or other large rule breaking will get members banned permanently. Please pay attention to the rules.
We want everyone to be treated equally and have a nice time in this community!

XXXWhen breeding is open, fill out and post the correct Breeding Form to be considered for a slot. A Breeding Berry is required to request a breeding - you can use either the Bunder Berry or the Billy Berry. Check your Bank account before you post to see if you have a Breeding Berry to use or have enough Boodles to buy one. If you need to purchase one at the time of your request, then you may do so. You just need to make sure to say so in your form!

XXXBreeding slots may be filled on a first come, first serve basis OR may be specifically chosen by an artist depending on what requests are posted. Sometimes artists may only be available for simpler breedings that don't require as many lineart edits. In these cases, the artist doing the breeding will post with restrictions or special requests.

XXXPipteryx can have 1 to 4 eggs. The number of eggs in a batch will be determined by which Breeding Berry is used and a random number generator. The Bunder Berry allows for 1 or 2 eggs, with a 50/50 chance of either 1 egg or 2 eggs. If the generator chooses a number between 1 and 50, there will be 1 egg. If the generator chooses a number between 51 and 100, there will be 2 eggs. The Billy Berry allows for 3 or 4 eggs, with a 50/50 chance of either 3 eggs or 4 eggs. If the generator chooses a number between 1 and 50, there will be 3 eggs. And if the generator chooses a number between 51 and 100, there will be 4 eggs. All partner breedings will ensure 2 or 4 eggs so that both partners can get the same number of eggs from their breeding.

XXXMost people may want to breed their own Pipteryx together, but partner breeding is also allowed. Partners are two different people who are breeding their Pipteryx together. In partner breedings, both members must post a filled out form. Once the first partner posts, the second partner has to post their form or the request becomes invalid. The second partner to post must link to the first partner’s form. Partner breedings guarantee 2 or 4 eggs, so both partners can get the same number of eggs from their breeding. The partners may split the cost of the Breeding Berry used, if they so desire.

XXXIf a breeding is done with only one breeder, all of the eggs produced from the breeding automatically go to that breeder. Once the baby Pipteryx are revealed, the breeder may decide to keep, sell, trade, or gift them.

XXXPartners must decide what will happen to the eggs produced from their breeding. Once the baby Pipteryx are revealed, each Pipteryx produced will go to one of the partners. From there, they can choose to keep, sell, trade, or gift their baby Pipteryx. If a fair decision cannot be made between the partners, a staff member can step in and help make the decision.

XXXDuring breeding, parents may pass on both their colors and/or their physical traits. This includes any sort of patterns or lineart edits like tufts, wings, tails, accessories, etc. If a Pipteryx is heavily edited, there's a higher chance the baby Pipteryx will get edits, too. But there are no guarantees that lineart edits will pass to the offspring. The decision on what the baby Pipteryx will look like is entirely up to the artist doing the breeding.

XXXCustom Pipteryx cannot be based on reference photographs or already pre-existing characters, whether commercial or original. If you attempt to provide a pre-existing character to base your custom Pipteryx on, your request will be denied. A: Pipteryx needs artists and mods! Check out the the Staff section above. Application forms can be found there!

Q: What are Boodles?
A: Boodles are the special coins that Pipteryx use in the Shop, where you can purchase items. Pets and C$ can be exchanged for Boodles, and they can also be won during events or traded between members!

Q: How much is it to adopt a Pipteryx?
A: Regular adoptable batches of Pipteryx will be free. Breeding and customs require payment.

Q: How do I adopt a Pipteryx?
A: To adopt an available Pipteryx, simply post the correct form, which is found below batches in the Adopts post.

Q: How often can I adopt Pipteryx?
A: Members may adopt 1 Pipteryx per batch. Please allow others a chance to adopt if you have quite a few already. If the staff notice certain people are adopting too often, this rule may change.

Q: How many Pipteryx can I own in total?
A: As of right now, there is no limit to how many Pipteryx you can own. Please allow others a chance to adopt if you have quite a few already. If the staff notice certain people are adopting too many, this rule may change.

Q: Can I sell/trade/gift my Pipteryx with others?
A: Yes! Pipteryx can be traded for other Pipteryx, Pipteryx shop items, C$, pets, art, or other user made adoptables that allow trading. Pipteryx cannot be traded for real money or any other currencies.

Q: What if I don't want my Pipteryx anymore?
A: If you have any Pipteryx that you no longer want, you can trade or gift them to someone else. If those options don't appeal to you, you can private message rainbowpanda101 and request your Pipteryx be put back up for adoption.

Q: Can we get custom Pipteryx?
A: Yes! Custom Pipteryx require the use of a Vanilla Cake or a Chocolate Cake. The Vanilla Cake allows you to request a custom without any lineart edits, while the Chocolate Cake allows you to request a custom with lineart edits and/or accessories. These items can be purchased in the Shop or won during events.

Q: Can we breed our Pipteryx?

Q: I'm looking for a breeding partner! Am I allowed to advertise that I am?
A: Yes! Members can advertise for a breeding partner once per page in the main thread. Please take all breeding partner discussions to private message. Partner discussions in any of the threads will be considered spam.

Q: Can I edit my Pipteryx?
A: No. You cannot alter a Pipteryx's image.

Q: Is there a fan club for Pipteryx?
A: A Fanclub thread will be posted for Pipteryx if they receive enough attention. Please do not post a Fanclub for us, as we will be posting one at a later date when we think we're ready for it.

Q: How do I gain access to the Discord?
A: At the moment, we do not have a Discord set up for Pipteryx. Once one has been established, all you will need to do to gain access is click the link in the navigation panel at the top of the main thread!

Q: I have a question that I don't want to ask in public. What should I do?
A: If you have a question related to Pipteryx that you would rather not post publicly in the thread, you are welcome to private message rainbowpanda101 at any time. Her PMs are always open, and she checks them quite often so you will probably get a response within 1 to 3 days. However, if you do not get a response within 3 days, send your message again. Sometimes her inbox gets messy, so just keep trying until you get a response.
