Hello! This is the main board for Gatitos, a laidback, feline-based adopt with a focus on customization and (potentially) worldbuilding. To the left is an example of what you can expect!

Gatitos are inspired by the customization capabilities of Neopets, of which I have been a player for years. They have also been inspired by the fellow forum adopts on the boards, with all its creativity I adore!

A raffle was live from 5/8 to 5/12 5PM PST (or 5/13 at rollover CS time)!

Gatitos are anthropomorphic, kitten-like felines who reside in a world simply dubbed "Gatitopia". In the world of Gatitopia, there are different continents where many different Gatitos reside. From modern views to magical refreshers, Gatitopia is (quite practically!) whatever you make of it.

This means that the world in which these Gatitos live in is yours to do what you like- you can present them in their environment by the snippets of lore that may be provided, or use them as a basis for your own Gatito's story. Freedom of creativity (and even the constriction of it) is something best enjoyed at your Gatito's leisure!

However, concerning Gatitos themselves, they always present as feline. They could have differing animal parts, but they'll always be kittens at heart.

Rules

• Please do not create your own Gatito or wearables without my express permission. There will be plenty of opportunities to adopt and create your own!
• You may not claim Gatitos you do not own for yourself. Similarly, you may not claim or use items you do not own.
• Editing Gatitos or items is not allowed- there will be items available for those occasions. You may flip your Gatito's image or crop for the use of icons however.
• You may post your Gatitos wherever you like, with credit and a link to this thread.
• Gatitos may not be traded or gifted for 1 week after being obtained. Litterswaps are allowed.
• Gatitos may not be traded off-site or anywhere the group isn't available. You can however post them elsewhere!

FAQ

How do I obtain a Gatito?
Gatitos can primarily be obtained for free from raffles!

Can Gatitos be traded or gifted?
Yes, you may trade or gift your Gatito after the one-week cooldown. Currently, a Gatito may only be traded for another Gatito, not other adopts or currencies.
