"So, you wanna know a little more about how things work around here?"

"The rules are posted up over here. Let's take a look!"

1.) All CS rules apply.

2.) Couriette is a closed species, you may not create your own Couriette.

3.) Do not claim Couriettes that you do not own.

4.) Do not guilt trip if you don't get the Couriette you were after! Don't worry, there'll be plenty of little guys looking for a Volunteer!

5.) You may trade your Couriette for other UMA, c$, CS pets, art, and OCs. USD is not permitted unless USD art commissions are included. In that case, the asking price may not exceed the total value. USD is permitted only in the case of customs purchased via USD. All USD sales in that case must be discussed off site.

6.) Be sure to credit Couriette while uploading your Couriette offsite.

Couriettes were designed and brought to life by scientists to save small, generally terrarium/fish tank sized creatures from pollution. They, themselves, are immune to impairments caused by pollution, but are completely alive. They are living creatures, not robots. They have capsule stomachs, fluffy ears (usually), and generally have aquatic animal tails.
Inside of their capsule stomachs is clean water, as well a small sea creature that they rescued from a polluted part of a large body of water. They keep the creatures inside of their capsules until they feel that they have found a safe enough, non-polluted, body of water for the creature to reside in.
While a creature is inside of their torso tank, the Couriette will eat food that the sea creature can eat. While the Couriette does not have a creature inside of it, they will drink clean fresh/salt water (depending on where they are going to go look for creatures to save) to ready themselves for when they do catch a creature in need of help. Recently, there have been sightings of Couriette with terrariums... Apparently the scientists will be able to release more information on that soon!

Q. Can any aquatic animal be held in a Couriette's tank?
A. For the most part, yes! It all depends on the Couriette, honestly. Some may be larger than others!

Q. Can my Couriette acquire additional tanks?
A. Yes! Sometimes, tanks can be added to various parts of the Couriette’s body. Keep an eye out, you just might snag one sooner than you think!

1. Adopts are FCFS unless stated otherwise! If you edit your post, it will be disregarded. Make sure to quote it if you want to change something!
2. Don't remove the code when you go to adopt a Couriette. If you do, it will not be counted.

1. Couriettes can be traded! They can be traded for C$, pets, cs items, art, other Couriettes, and other characters! Other UMA adopts would also be allowed, however, only if said UMA allows it.
2. You cannot trade/sell your Couriettes for USD or other real-life currencies unless purchased via USD or other real-life currencies. ALL IRL CURRENCY COMMUNICATIONS MUST BE DISCUSSED VIA DISCORD ONLY.
3. Couriettes from litters, giveaways, raffles, etc. don't have cooldowns! However, custom Couriettes do have cooldowns. They cannot be traded until you have owned them for three days. Remember, we have feelings, too!

Sometimes we have Couriettes needing new Volunteers come through our facility. Here at the shelter, we help these Couriettes get back into tip top shape so they can continue helping all critters who need it! Once they're ready to go, we'll have them shown here!
