Dorks is still on its hiatus, and currently there is no set time that we may be back. However, in the meantime, you might see this thread update its layout! I'm trying to rekindle my interest by doing so ^^;

FAQ:

- Are dorks free?

yes! as of right now, dork are obtainable through first come first served (fcfs), or raffle bases. there is a possibility custom dorks, purchasable via C$, may happen in the future, but that is not set in stone just yet.

- What are dorks?

simply dog-sharks! well, not the literal dog shark, but a hybrid between a dog-like creature and sharks! Calling them dorks sounded better than other options.

- Where can we suggest design themes?

you can suggest themes for next litters by simply posting a reply! your user will be listed as the suggestor (unless indicated otherwise), and it will be added to a poll for others to choose the top one from! a forum for suggestions is located here: Jump to Forum

- How often do you post litters?

I dunno! I’m currently a college student, and I’m only doing this in my freetime when I have the inspiration. I will try to get new litters out soon after the last ones are claimed.

- Can I trade/sell my dork?

kind of! you cannot trade/sell your dork for real money. however, players may choose to trade their dork for CS pets, C$, or other UMAs (if that UMA allows).

- Aren’t these kind of like ____…?

yeah, probably! the idea of mixing domesticated animals and sharks together certainly isn’t new, and I will wholeheartedly admit that I am obviously not the first one to design a ‘species’ like this.

Rules:

Breaking of one or more of these rules can result in either an immediate ban/strike with or without warning.

1. Follow all CS Rules.

2. Do not use or modify dork artwork in any way without permission.

3. Do not claim the dork as your original artwork.

4. Do not beg/wine for specific dorks from other players.

5. Only one dork per player per litter!

6. You can take your dork wherever you like (other forums, signature, etc), however! You must always link your dork back to this original post!

7. Do not edit forum posts! (posts where you submit a forum for adoption/donation/etc, other post types are ok to edit) If you need to alter information on it, quote your original post and say what information is wrong, and what you’d like to change! Edited forum posts are immediately disqualified.

8. Try to post only one theme suggestion per person! Note: Suggesting a litter theme does not guarantee its placement on a poll.

9. An account must have been around for at least 2 months before participating in dorks! You may ask questions/etc, but you cannot own a dork, items, or trade for scales until then.

Strikes & Bans



This post purely exists for other users or UMA owners to reference. This post is in no way shaming or inviting hate towards the members listed, but acts as a warning for those within the UMA community to prevent accidental trading of dork-related items to these members.

Members with strikes are allowed to continue existing within the Dork's pages, but will be watched for any further infractions to rules. Members have a possibility of receiving three strikes before a permanent ban, and on 2+ strikes will not be allowed to participate in raffles or events.

Banned members are not allowed to participate in dorks whatsoever, including the Discord. One may be banned immediately without any/three strikes depending on the severity of the rule break. All non custom dorks will be confiscated and put into the shelter, and all items and scales will be voided. The ID#s of any custom dorks will be voided, and given to new dorks.

All users listed will be by ID# only, and may have a timestamp. For strikes, it will also simply list how many strikes have been accrued.
