Welcome all to Mirror Beasts!
Mirror Beasts are a small species once upon a time created by a woman known as the Toymaker to guard her home, though over centuries they've gained their own magic and begun to reproduce in her absence.

Most Mirror Beasts, or MBs for short, are cat-like, though it's not uncommon to find ones more reminiscent of foxes and larger rodents, and more recently they've begun appearing with stranger traits like horns or wings as their magic mutates.

Do not claim any MB you do not own
No art theft (this includes stealing species lines, stealing someone else's MB, and attempting to make your own MB and pass it off as official)
These can be taken off site so long as all MB are linked back here

F.A.Q.s

Are Mirror Beasts free?
Most are! All MBs up for adoption or in the shelter are completely free. The only exceptions would be MBs in the store and customs.
Are these FCFS?
Also yes! All regular Mirror Beasts are First Come, First Serve, whether they're free in the adoption center or up for sale in the store. The only exception to this rule will be raffles!
Can I edit my form?
No. Any forms relating to the adoption or buying of an MB will be completely void if they're edited in any way. Please quote your form instead.
Why is the adoption center empty?
If the center is empty all MBs have been adopted out! A new litter will show up soon, don't worry if you missed the last one!
I posted a form first, why didn't I get my MB?
Chances are, you forgot the codeword, didn't copy the form properly, or edited your form! If your form was correct and you think we've made a mistake though, please reach out! There's always a chance we've made a mistake and you will be compensated for it :)

Welcome to the adoption center!
All Mirror Beasts looking for a new home can be found right here, but let's get a couple extra rules down first.

Litters are FCFS.
This means if someone posts a valid form to adopt a specific MB before you, they will be the one to get it. No bribes, no begging.
You may only adopt one MB per batch!
This is to keep it fair to everyone and to keep any one person from hoarding.
Do not edit your forms!
Any edited forms will be void and you will not get your MB. Please Quote the form instead.
If you manage to get an MB and want to swap, you may only do so once!
This is to keep forms from becoming too confusing so we can avoid making mistakes in who owns which MB.
If there is a name already by an MB, they are claimed.
Please don't try to claim them from their owners.
There is a 24 hour cooldown on any and all adopted MBs.
This may change to a longer cooldown later down the line.

The only shelter-specific rule is that you may only claim a shelter MB once every 24 hours.
Outside of this most of the same rules as the adoption center apply here! MB in the shelter are FCFS, you still cannot edit your forms, and you still may not claim any MB with a name next to them.
