What is “Sunside Lake?”

Sunside Lake is an RPG-style Adoptable Species on Chicken Smoothie. Live as an Axolotl inside this mythical lake of mystery— exploring the many secrets below the surface. Build your story, what will you discover?

Rules:
- Do not pretend to be a mod (minimodding.)
- Be respectful to everyone in the community.
- You are not required to write role-play snippets.
- You just sign up first before playing.
- Do not steal other’s Axolotls on purpose. You will be caught.*
- Do not make your own Sunside Lake Axolotl (meaning
you cannot edit the sprites)
- Breaking a rule will result in a strike.
- Three strikes will result as a ban.
- If you are banned, you may no longer use your Axolotls.
Non-starter axolotls will be out for adoption in the ‘Join
a Harem’ Section.
- By joining, you agree to these rules and
understand they will change.

*When an item is equipped to your Axolotl, it will be given a code. If you are found using the same code as someone else, you are breaking a rule. Codeword: Gills. Others may have the same Axolotl color as you, and similar items, but that does not mean they copied, as long as the code is different. Code is in URL.

How To Play.

Since Sunset Lake is an RPG, you will need to know the basics of how to play.
First step is to sign up, the forum for this can be found under Introduction. Signing up is free!
When you sign up, you are agreeing to the rules. You will also be choosing your starting axoltol. Below are the different variants there are available.

You will be able to equip items to your axolotl(s) when you buy or find items under Explore.

Once you sign up, you will now be able to make your post in the Co-op Archive. Follow the forum on the first post. You may edit and decorate it, but you must display the required information. You may not lie about your rank, items you own, your currency (though it is okay if you miscount), etc.

Shells n’ Trinkets - This is the store for buying accessories and other items with the currency, Shells. ()
Join a Harem - While Axolotls are known as solitary creatures, things in Sunside Lake are different. You can have your Axolotl join a harem. As of now there are no specific perks, and this is for role-play purposes. You are not required to have your Axolotl join a harem. Each harem is different, so read carefully and fill out the form for the corresponding harem you would like your Axolotl to join.
Explore - You can do these for Shells and sometimes even items. Fill out the forum on the first post correctly. You are not required to write role-play snippets, it is optional.
Daily Quests - You can do these for Shells and sometimes even items. Fill out the forum to a corresponding daily quest correctly.
Lore - This section is also only for role-play purposes and it is not required you read it. However, please keep in mind you are not allowed to alter it in any way.
Staff - This section verifies who is a mod. Occasionally, staff applications will open and the forum will be found on this section. You are to PM me these forums and not post on thread. If you do not get the role, do not complain. You may apply next time applications open.

As stated in rules, breaking a rule will result in a strike. Three strikes result in a ban. Remember do not mini mod, if you see someone breaking a rule, you can help by reporting it to me or a mod.

A group of Axolotls is called a harem. While axolotls are normally solitary creatures, things in Sunset Lake are different. Many years ago, these harems were formed so Axolotls of Sunset Lake could work together to protect each other from other unknown dangers. This is the center where your Axolotl may become a part of a harem. Read carefully, and choose wisely.

There is a section of the lake that seems to have a large amount of shells, piling on each other. All of these shells are taking up room for other creatures. Maybe you should clean up a little. Every day (after rollover), you may submit a form from this quest. After posting this, you can add 20 shells to your archive.
