Welcome to Moosems!
Moosems are a genetically modified
moose, they have the ability to adapt
to new surroundings and even change
appearances to best suit those areas.

You might see some with simple changes,
or some with massive changes. Some based
on animals from Earth or some from a whole
different realm.

Our base lines are made by the wonderful Reshihall
and edited and made into unique moosems by our artists!

Rules
updated 5/21/2023

- Moosems are first come, first serve, and you may only adopt one Moosem per herd. You are, however, allowed to adopt one free and one shop Moosem if there is a shop drop going on the same time as a free herd.

- Your account must be at least two months old and have signs of activity outside of the UMA communities to participate in this UMA.

- Editing adoption forms will void your post, as well as not including the codeword or your ID. If you make a mistake, quote your original post with a fix.

- You are required to have a co-op archive post, and it must be kept updated. You are free to also store your Moosems elsewhere, but a co-op post is required.

- When adopting from a herd successfully, you are allowed swap one time. If you adopt Moosem 1, then decide to switch to Moosem 2, you are not allowed to switch back to Moosem 1 or switch to another. Any forms trying this will be ignored.

- Tracing or any editing of Moosem lines or changing the design is not permitted. You are allowed to use Moosems for reference to draw or commission pieces, but they are not to be tampered with.

- On ChickenSmoothie, Moosems can only be obtained through free and shop herds, as well as events and mini-games. On Discord, however, Moosems can be obtained through fun, thought-out games, raffles, giveaways, and mini-holiday events.

- Do not add your Moosems to your archive until the official codepost goes up, so you can confirm you got the Moosem.

- Those who get banned from Moosems will have their rights revoked and they will be returned to the artists who made them, unless purchased with C$ or USD. (Has been in effect since at least 2/18/2023, not a new rule.)

- Moosems function on a first come, first serve type of claim unless otherwise stated in the notes.
- You may only adopt one per herd. Trying to bypass with alt accounts will get you immediately banned.
- Any edited posts will be rendered void, if you messed up, please quote your original post!
- Fill out the forms completely and correctly, we will not inform you if you filled out a post wrong, it is solely your responsibility.
- We only accept numbers in the form of 1 / #1 / 1.. All other forms will render your post void.
- Once you successfully adopt a Moosem, you are only allowed to swap once. This means if you swap from Moosem 1 to Moosem 2, you cannot swap to Moosem 3 or back to Moosem 1. Swap with caution.
- Do not guilt trip if you do not get the Moosem you wanted or if you missed the herd. There will be other chances.

Reserves, or Moosems with names by them are not able to be adopted.

Here is where you can find unadopted moosems, moosems who have been put up for readoption, and those who have been sent here by artists after reclaiming moosems from users that have been banned.

- You may only adopt one moosem per week, the cooldown resets every Sunday.
- If there is a username by it, it has already been claimed.
- Please try not to adopt one that you already own lines of.

Shop Moosems
