What are they?
Surtamites are a cat-taco hybrid! They are like cats, but omnivores. These cats mainly eat ground beef and lettuce, though many other things are on there menu! Surtamites usually have more natural colored coats with wild varieties of taco shell and meat, but some are completely out of this world! These cats surprisingly have a great love for...pebbles. Surtamites also are very social and love people and other Surtamites!
Please note I am not claiming the idea of a cat in a taco. Characters that are not disclosed as Surtamites that have tacoshells are completely fine. If you think that someone is selling a Surtamite, for example with Surtamite line-art, that is against the rules.

1.) No Spamming. This will/can get your Surtamite account terminated after the second time of spamming and all your Surtamites will be released into the Shelter. Double-Posting does not count as spamming, though please do delete your duplicate post if you can, or edit it to say double-post.

2.) Please read all rules, already answered questions, and the entire thread before posting! This clears away confusion and makes the Surtamites much happier. We can tell if you haven't! (Marking excluded!)

3.) Be respectful to staff, artists, and everyone in general! We do not need negativity on this thread. If you must, please take it to instead pms. The Surtamites will be happy with that.

4.) Credit all Surtamites when off this thread. If taking off CS, you MUST get permission from me. There are some sites I do not trust.

5.) We aren't strict all the time; don't worry! We allow fun, just please don't go over the invisible line!

6.) DO NOT MINIMOD. We have staff for a reason! Your Surtamites may reject you if you start mini-modding without permission.

7.) Have suggestions, complaints, or compliments? Post them [url=link]here![/url]

8.) If your Surtamite account is terminated, your/a Surtamite flees from you because of you breaking a rule, or you regret sending that trade for pebbles, there are no refunds. Sorry!

9.) Do not steal another Surtamite that is not your own. That Surtamite will inform all other Surtamites within a few days and your account will be terminated as with the Surtamites going to the Shelter for hopefully new owners.

10.) Do not whine about whatever has happened to a Surtamite, thank you.

What is a Litter?
A litter is a group of 2-5 Surtamites! Each litter differs and is different. The designs are usually very similar or even the same, but the colors changed upon each Surtamite. Usually, half of the Surtamites of each litter is unnaturally colored, but that sometimes varies. Surtamites that come from litters are usually close to each other until adopted.

I want a Surtamite of this litter!
Have you fallen in love with a Surtamite? Each Surtamite from a litter is the same amount of pebbles per litter 'ticket,' but each 'ticket' price changes each litter. It could be 1 Pebble, to 10000 Pebbles! (Not realistically) How to get a chance at getting a litter is to offer a certain amount of pebbles to the Surtamite and then just wait for its choice. Keep in mind some Surtamites like a lot of pebbles, and some only like a few! There is a range that you have to be in, making up for that price stated above. For example, the litter ticket price is 40-60 pebbles. You can choose to put 40 pebbles in front of a Surtamite, and depending on the Surtamite you could get a new buddy!

One of the Surtamites didn't get adopted, what happens to it now?
The Surtamite heads off to the Shelter. Another user will adopt it, hopefully!

How do Raffles work?
How raffles work are you, buy a ticket in Pebbles. You will use the form at the bottom of this page and post it with the required information; and if your lucky you will be the winner! These go on at random times and sometimes none will be going at all; so be patient! Normally there's one every two months; a raffle ends in one. So, a raffle starts. After a month, that raffle ends and winners are drawn. Then, in another month, another raffle is held. Rarely, there can be several raffles going at one time (all started at once).

Is this like a Litter?
No. Litters work differently, and you can read that post to find out.

Breeding Dust
This item breeds two Surtamites together for up to 5 kits, with a minimum of 2. 2 Being the most common and 5 being the most rare, as well. (2 with a 5/12 chance, 3 with a 4/12 chance, 4 with a 2/12 chance, and 5 with a 1/12) Your litter of kits may take a very long time, or a short time. Take a look at the breeding center for more information!

What does each job do and what are there perks?

Admins do..
Admins confirm shelter adoptions and message me about the deduction, and make sure the bank has been updated recently before giving the Surtamite to the adopter. Admins also help with randomizing pebbles and giving them when they are searched for. Also, they take over for the Creator/Owner if they are away. They also help moderators, newbies, and new staff on what to do!

Moderators do..
Moderators 'patrol' the thread, answer questions they for sure know, a few times a day if given permission can roll pebbles for those searching. Mods also enforce the rules if needed and will warn users as well as report posts that are breaking rules if an Admin or the Creator/Owner doesn't get to it first.

Helpers do..
Helpers are Moderators in training! They can only answer questions they know and enforce rules as well as report posts if needed. These are basically Moderators that are yet to be accepted and the staff team are seeing if they are worth it. More then half Helpers will be removed. Helpers must be Helpers for at least 2 months before staff chooses unless its very obvious, and another 2 months before having a chance at becoming a Moderator.

Artists do..
Artists have quotas they must fill each month! Artists are required to make a litter Surtamite before anything else, unless the litter is already full. Then they are allowed to open up custom slots, though this is not required! Artists must make one item each month. Artists are the ones that keep the item files and upon request will take another Artists wip of a Surtamite and add the item to it, then send it back.

Guest Artists do..
Guess Artists do the same as Artists! Though they are either only staying for a month, or are on trial and are being seen by the staff if they are worthy enough to become a Surtamite Artist.

Admins get..
Admins get 100-150 Pebbles a month depending on how well they do there job, as well as a free custom every two months! A breeding every five as well. This may expand as time goes on.

Moderators get..
Moderators get 75-100 Pebbles a month depending on how well they do there job, as well as a free custom every four months! A breeding every eight as well. This may expand as time goes on.

Helpers get..
Helpers get 25-50 Pebbles a month depending on how well they do there job, as well as a free custom every six months! This may expand as time goes on.

Artists get..
Artists get 125-200 Pebbles a month depending on how well they do their job, a free custom from another artist every two months, and free breeding from another artist every four. You also get to make yourself a custom every five Surtamites you make, and every 10 items you make as well.

Guest Artists get..
Guest artists get 25-50 Pebbles a month depending on how well they do their job, and you can make a custom for yourself every six Surtamties you make. This is only lower the Artists as we are testing you out!
